CALM DOWN - GOD IS ABLE!

March 7th 2019

“ But Jesus beheld [them], and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible” – Mathew 19:26

To say God is able to do much more for us than expected is true, only if we are patient and are ready to go with God on His terms, NOT on our terms. Often times, we want God to do things on our own terms, just the way we want, and at our own time! But God doesn’t work that way; God follows a systematic course of principles as well as His divine nature to actualize a divine occurrence. Remember, where your ability stops, God’s work and intervention commence. God is a God of impossibilities! God can make a way where there exits none. No matter how we preach on this topic, it will make no difference to many. This is because not many have experienced what I am about to tell you concerning God. Like a popular adage goes; “the taste of the pudding is in the eating” – Taste and see, that the Lord is good! You may look at your situation today and feel that your yearnings cannot possibly be actualized. You are mistaken. We cannot talk about the power of God to do mighty things without a reference to the life of the Australian-born, Nick Vujicic as well as the breathtaking invention of James Eads, an American engineer, and inventor. For those of us not familiar with these two, remember that Nick was born without arms and legs, but that has not stopped him from leading a full life.

Today, he is the founder of the Los Angeles-based nonprofit – “Life Without Limbs” and a motivational speaker, he gives hope to those born with disabilities. I find significant motivation anytime I watched the video clips of Nick Vujicic. “The God of the unseen invades the space of our seeming impossibility to bring about our divine opportunity”! In 1867, James Eads, an American engineer, and inventor thought that it was possible to build a bridge across the river Mississippi. He was told it was impossible and that no bridge could span the mighty Mississippi. In 1874, the bridge was completed and it stands today as a historical landmark. The scripture tells us that Joshua commanded the sun and the moon to stand still. Science says this is not possible, but I hear science is still trying to figure out why there is a day missing in the celestial clock- Joshua 10:12-14. God is telling you today to lean on Him. He is not a man that should lie about His powers and sovereignty. There is a powerful key that unlocks the heart of God to perform wonders – YOUR CONFIDENCE AND FAITH IN GOD FOR THE UNBELIEVABLE, and TRUSTING HIM FOR WHAT YOU THOUGHT IMPOSSIBLE. Beloved, believe in your heart that “THE GOD OF THE IMPOSSIBLE” is walking with you, working in you, and witnessing through you. Therefore, commit that plan into God’s hands today. Pray fervently asking God to do something extraordinary for you. Commit to God that problem you have had over the years, and trust that God would show His face. It is my prayer that God will visit you today and cause you to overcome every barrier and limitations. Jesus tells us this morning that God can do everything. Yes, I believe!

Prayer
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, show your face in my life today and prove that you are God. The scripture tells me I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me. Therefore, I decree that each of my inner yearnings is fulfilled today. AMEN
