“And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he heareth us” – 1 John 5:14

In recent times, I have been fascinated by the miracle of answered prayers in very difficult situations. Prayers are answered according to the divine will of God. Part of the divine will of God is that all men would love God with all their hearts as well as loving our neighbors (Luke 10:28 – 27) Accepting and surrendering consistently to the divine will of God has been the biggest obstacle to prayers. To love God and other people is a difficult process for many as well. Inability to love God and others is one basic reason our relationship with Christ is hampered. A demonstration of love automatically enlarges our faith in God, whilst expanded faith, in turn, gives us a sustained and constant strength to live a life filled with unrelenting compassion for the people. Therefore, daily prayer and submission to the will of God in love for God and our neighbors will make us live the Christian life of victory in prayers. I have come to realize that prayer is not done for the sake of “getting what we want,” but for the sake of aligning our purpose with that of the Divine purpose of God thereby allowing God’s will to be done in our life. Also, remember that you are not the reason why the miracle in prayers take place. It is the Christ in you that makes prayer work. The attitude of Christ is that of giving out LIGHT, LIFE, AND LOVE to the whole world, without exemption. Jesus Christ demonstrated light, life and love in service to humanity, up to the point of giving His life to save the whole world. The fact remains that the true power of prayers is not in complicated or ritualistic prayers of long hours, persistent night vigils, several days of elaborate dry or wet fasting or even regular attendance of church services. The miracle power of prayers is in YOU! Christ is enthroned in you, and He is the power that brings prayer to manifestation. This miracle is achieved when you are able to align your INTENTIONS WITH THAT OF THE DIVINE WILL OF GOD. This means that you have to agree with Christ in you. The practical approach is to ask yourself some basic questions thus: Are you ready to share your blessings with others if God answers your prayers? What is the blueprint of your life and how does God want you to fulfill that? Are you ready to take steps to empty yourself of bias and selfishness and allow Christ to fill you up with His divine spirit of love? At all times, therefore, LOVE remains God’s divine will for his people. Love also is the nature of Christ, by whom all things are made manifest without delay! Therefore, to know and act in line with the will of God for you, you must in turn constantly demonstrate love for your neighbors as well as love God!
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I empty myself of all weaknesses and imperfection. Fill me up Lord with your divine spirit. Lord, I align my intentions with your divine nature today and I declare I am at one with you on the same frequency. AMEN.
