A threshold is a transitional place in our lives – where we move from one stage of reality to another. There are several thresholds in life. Today, I want to talk about crossing the threshold of light, into CHRISTHOOD. Every child of God must be ready to experience the birth into a new realm of HOPE AND GLORY. Remember, your hope of glory is Christ, and He lives in you. How far have you come to a realization of the greatest power that resides in you? You are the temple of God, and in your inner sanctuary is the resurrected Christ, firmly seated on His throne. Paul says there is a mystery that has been hidden from you since the ages, and that mystery is – CHRIST IN YOU THE HOPE OF GLORY! (Colossians 1:26-27) This is quite amazing. The revelation of Christ in you becomes relevant when it becomes a life-changing tool for the church and every human being. Today, we live in a dark world devoid of the light of Christ. For that reason, evil thrives. Everyone is talking about power and fame; no one is talking about justice, peace, and Love. Only the light of Christ can completely remove evil from our world! John says that In Him was LIFE, and that life was the LIGHT of all mankind! (John1:4) We must all arise today to remove the darkness of evil in our world, by rekindling the light of Christ that we all carry in our inner sanctuary. The hope of man, and indeed the hope of the world and every creation is the LIGHT of Christ – the ETERNAL WORD of God who created the whole world! Crossing the threshold of light is the journey to your inner sanctuary where Christ dwells in the fullness of light and life. Jesus says, “Behold I have come that you may have life and experience it more abundantly” (John 10:10). In the inner sanctuary lies the power that conquers everything. The one who crosses the threshold of light must be ready to experience the purification and transformation provided by the LIGHT of Christ. Are you ready to live a new life of purity and transformation? When we are touched by the LIGHT from the inner sanctuary, we become truly transformed – old things truly passes away and a new life of light and life of abundance is opened for us. The evil in our world will be completely removed when all humanity embraces the light of Christ. When that happens, the world is simultaneously engulfed in the light of Christ. On a global level, this is the light of peace, the light of love, the light that gives a life of abundance, the light of victory, the light of wisdom, the light of knowledge and the light of understanding. On the individual level, this light brings harmony and peace of the mind, victory over negative circumstances, healing and general restoration. Are you ready to undergo the journey to the realm of LIGHT and LIFE in Christ? The starting point is a renunciation of the adornment of evil and embracing Christ in His purity, humility, and obedience. Therefore, renounce evil, be humble, and be obedient to God’s statutes and commands.

PRAYER
Lord Jesus Christ, today I face my inner sanctuary to behold thy light. I declare your light shines through me into the hearts of men and throughout all things. Everything has come anew and peace and harmony reign supreme throughout the world. Today, by thy power, I embrace love, light, and life of abundance. AMEN

Mary Lawrence-Dokpesi

Mary Lawrence-Dokpesi was born in Nigeria to Patrick Abuda Obeakemhe and Juliana Fatimatu Obeakemhe, both from Ogbona Town. With a master’s degree in law, she was called to the bar at the age of twenty-two, and she is currently the principle partner of the law firm Mary Lawrence-Dokpesi & Associates.
