HE LIVES IN YOU!

8th JANUARY 2020

And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul – Genesis 2:7

God is in you as well as in all things. So many people get challenged by this simple statement, apparently due to their faulty reasoning that God is physically bigger than human beings. But God is Spirit, and the scripture says that God is everywhere at all times and He inhabits (dwells in) eternity (Jeremiah 23: 23 – 33) Because God is Spirit, His divine spirit is present everywhere and in all things (Psalm 139:7-10)  Therefore, God is in you, and He is also present in all other human beings. Further to that is the fact that God breathed His life or soul into man, and man became a living soul. But how does God manifest in us? God manifests in us to give us health and vitality. He also manifests to give us the power to overcome danger and adverse conditions. Further to that is the fact that we are richly blessed by the presence or power of God in us. Today’s word tells us how God extraordinarily formed man from the dust of the earth and breathed into his nostrils to give him life. This, of course, is the climax of God’s creative work, in that both man and God actually shares one life and spirit.

This also means that you are powerful beyond measures as you can simply connect with God in you in other to actualize any of your positive desires. And with the power of the Holy Spirit on your side, connecting with God becomes much easier. For us to work great things, we need to constantly quicken the spirit of God in us and spur Him into action! How do we do that? Through meditation on God’s word at quiet times. By constant meditation on God’s word, we become infused with or attuned to the power and essence of that aspect of the word of God. After a short while, we are sure to experience the luxury of the manifestation of the specific word! The art of meditation on God’s word is simple to apply. For instance, you may apply the following process in your meditation:

·        Sit quietly in a place where you won’t be easily disturbed.

·        Identify the specific promise of God that you want to materialize in your life.

·        Read the verse silently to yourself as many times as possible, making sure you understand the import of the verse.

·        Then proceed to visualize yourself receiving the promise from God; possess the promise and live it!

During periods of meditation, our spirit is brought into perfect alignment with the Word of God. We are richly blessed during the short periods spent in meditation, for we are consequently overwhelmed and infused with the Life, Light, and Love of God (Ref: Psalm 42:7)

 PRAYER

Father in the name of Jesus Christ, I know that you dwell in me and I in you. Infuse me with your omnipotent power today that I may experience the miracle of your positive transformation in all aspects of my life. Thank you, father, AMEN
