I BELIEVE! (PART 2 OF 2)

22nd FEBRUARY 2020

“But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind” – James 1:6

Faith is a mysterious power and it is a gift from God to us, But we must learn to express faith! To express faith, we must learn to listen to Jesus talk to us in our inner hearts. Often times, the master stands on the threshold of our inner temple knocking the doors of our hearts waiting to be admitted in. Rather than close your ears or seal off your mind completely from the yearning of our Lord, it is best to open your heart to receive the master. Beloved, this, of course, means that you have to commence or continue to devote to God through daily prayers, meditation, and study of His Word. Those who devote themselves to God through prayers, meditation and study of the Scriptures definitely will encounter God in prayers very quickly than those who do not so apply themselves.  Beloved, your faith is gradually ignited or expanded when you place hope in God and believe in His power to remedy your situation. With faith, you are enabled to have a supernatural encounter with God through prayers. When we doubt God and His revelations, we stop God from working for us. It is true that God exists, and it is true that God has plans for everyone – notwithstanding religion or ideological biases. What is simply requested from us is to believe that HE IS, and He will hear us when we call on Him! “Faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen”. (Hebrews 11:11). With faith, we have “assurance” and “conviction.” we are sure of fulfillment, even though we have not seen the evidence with our eyes. Quite frankly, the word of God is God and is already established. God is everywhere and in all things; therefore, the evidence of God is NOT lost on us. To overcome doubts; First, you must trust God absolutely like children would trust their parents. This is because God is perfect and free from human imperfections. He is full of love and grace.  Therefore, God is ready and willing to reveal Himself to us and to lift off our burdens.

Secondly, continue to seek God through studying and meditation on the scriptures, as well as regular prayers. This is because the word of God is God, and God also manifests as Jesus and the Holy Spirit, this is why we believe in TRINITY. The Holy Spirit is ever-present to teach the scriptures, but only if we are ready to open up to the Spirit.

When you take the above two steps, your doubtful mind will gradually become stable. Today’s Word says, “Have Faith “. Therefore, if you are going through a trial or temptation, that is causing you to doubt God, or you are experiencing trauma, disappointment, heartbreak, or irreversible losses, simply cry out to God!  He is faithful.  He will never leave or forsake you. Simply say to God; “I BELIEVE YOU HAVE DONE IT ALREADY, AND IT IS WELL WITH ME! “AMEN

PRAYER

Father in the name of Jesus Christ, I declare I am greatly empowered by the Holy Spirit and I confess that Jesus Christ is Lord and savior of the world. Lord, I decree no confusion or fear shall eat up this revelation from my heart. Father, today I reject and renounce any false teaching and deceitful manipulations of my understanding of God, His written word and Jesus Christ. Father, I declare that your promises are manifesting in my life right NOW and the Holy Spirit counsels and empowers me. Amen.
