USING THE MIND AND IMAGINATION FOR POSITIVE TRANSFORMATION (PART 4 OF 4)

27th SEPTEMBER 2020

“Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen” – Ephesians 3:20-21

Consistently, I have reminded us that Christ in us is the hope of glory. I have also reminded us that Christ in us is capable of giving us the courage, idea, and knowledge to actualize and manifest everything we desire in life. This devotional is the concluding part of a series of four (4) devotionals marked out to explain the power of the mind and its relationship with the power of God in us. At this point, you have to take note that faith is NOT built in the air! Faith is exercised in your mind. Your ability to believe or not to believe is exercised with the mind! Therefore, you must believe rightly, so that your faith in God’s word can be tailored properly. Unfortunately, the devil also uses our mind to manipulate us into believing a falsehood and to make us submit to him at all costs. Therefore, you have to allow the Holy Spirit to constantly purify your thoughts and imaginations. Whatever you believe in your mind without doubts, will manifest someday if you continue to believe the same thing over a long period of time; be it negative thoughts or positive thoughts. But it is best to have your mind engulf by positive thoughts only so you can have a good and peaceful life. The scripture says, pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17) This is not because God is deaf and cannot hear us; It is simply because a continuous repetition of what we desire is capable of shifting our mindset from negative mindset to positive mindset, and to make the mind to believe that our pronouncements or declarations will manifest soon. The problem we each have often is, rather than occupy our mind daily with positive thoughts, we instead harbor impure and destructive thoughts. It is therefore very important to maintain a healthy mindset all the time. Your faith works better when you have a positive mindset. Better still, maybe I should say that your faith will be weakened if you have a negative mindset. This is because you are very likely to believe in falsehood if you have a negative mindset. As stated previously, some of the things that can render our mind working wrongly are envy, jealousy, hatred, unforgiveness, avarice or GREED, covetousness, anger and resentment, and the likes of them. This is one basic reason Jesus taught us to forgive, to love, to give to others, etc. Start from today to maintain a healthy mindset by harboring positive thoughts in your mind. Remove fear and vengeance from your mind as well. Also, when you pray, first forgive your enemies as taught by Jesus, then reduce the incidents of doubts and leave ALL to Jesus. When your thoughts are healthy, you will begin to attract positive conditions that will lead to positive transformation and upliftment. Remember, from the abundance of the mind or heart, the mouth speaks, says, Jesus. When your thoughts are deceitful, wicked, or vengeful, and you go ahead to declare or pronounce them as well, they will cause a negative condition to manifest in your life. These negative conditions could manifest in the form of incurable diseases, depression, poverty, etc. Conversely, when your thoughts are positive and pure, your journey through life becomes easier, peaceful, and successful!

PRAYERS

Father in the name of Jesus Christ, I ask that you take hold of my mind so I may bring forth healthy imagination. From this day onward, I declare that each of my positive thoughts shall manifest more than I have imagined. AMEN.
