WALK WITH GOD AND BEAR HIS TESTIMONY

April 19th 2018

“He has made it clear to you, mortal man, what is good and what the LORD is requiring from you—to act with justice, to treasure the LORD’s gracious love, and to walk humbly in the company of your God” - Micah 6:8

The life of Abraham, Moses, David and Enoch is full of testimonies, as they truly testified to the faithfulness of God. Today, their life is helping to mold the Christian life, for they walked with God through OBEDIENCE and FAITH, doing only that which is pleasing to God. Enoch walked with God for three hundred years in the midst of turbulence and confusion of his time. God spared his life during the great flood, and Enoch never saw death. Walking with God is not merely living by rules and regulations or making daily resolutions that we quickly break. It is much more than that. To walk with God, we must; ONE- live by faith; TWO – live in total obedience to God, THREE – agree with God in all His ways, for it is not God who will agree with our plans, rather, we are to flow with His plan, and live by His rules.

Remember, the righteous must live by faith, rather than his personal feelings. When we sacrifice our personal feelings in other to please God, God is happy and He is forced to give us a daily testimony of His power and love. God begins to manifest signs and wonders through us when we truly submit to Him by Faith and obedience, doing only that which is pleasing to Him. The word of God is telling us today to walk with God by submitting to him and doing only that which pleases Him. Starting from today, do that which is pleasing to God, obey His commands and live by Faith. Only then will He reveal His faithfulness and love to you. At the end, you are able to testify to His goodness and power.

Prayer

Father in the name of Jesus Christ, I resolve to walk with you today, and to do only that which is pleasing unto you. Lord, I decree nothing shall derail me henceforth from obedience to your commands, and total submission by Faith. Therefore, I bear your testimony all the days of my life. AMEN
