BE EMPOWERED!

23rd JANUARY 2022

“He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not be faint’ – Isaiah 40:29-31

Sometimes in life, as we move along its byways, the ground we stand upon becomes shaken, and when not careful, may cause us to fall. Sometimes also, we are tossed and turned by the world, so much so that we forget who we are and the God we serve. Sometimes we let what has happened to us change the way we see our strength or the power of our Almighty Father.

But today, we are being reminded that the God you believe in is bigger than anything you may face. All believers in God’s word and principles receive the power to excel and accomplish as they wish, and this is because God gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.

Therefore, to be empowered means to be given authority to accomplish success in a chosen dimension. Therefore, ask God today for the power to achieve the tremendous positive intentions you have for your life.

The fact about God’s empowerment notwithstanding, we still encounter challenges in our various areas of endeavours. That is because we are not entirely insulated against challenges or obstacles.

But the Holy Spirit is there for us. In our Christian journey, we receive empowerment from the Holy Spirit to do great things. The Holy Spirit is the able God, the great enabler who moves into every circumstance in our lives, pouring out His Spirit to empower us.

When the Holy Spirit empower us, He touches all aspects of our material and spiritual lives. Consequently, true empowerment comes when you convert intention into action due to constant fueling by the divine Spirit. Therefore, in difficulties, remember to call forth the divine Spirit of God to take control and guide you to safety and fulfilment.

PRAYER

In the name of Jesus Christ, Father, I ask that you empower me so that my good intentions can become actions and concrete evidence of your manifesting Spirit. AMEN
