Healing

“Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praise. Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working (James 5:13-16).

Living Waters Mission is basically a healing, evangelical and Community Service Ministry. We conduct healing for the body and the mind. No ailment or situation can withstand the power of Christ in us. The Christ in us is the ETERNAL WORD OF GOD which is in us since creation (John 1:1-9). The perfect will of God for man is to live forever, or have eternal life through his WORD, by way of mutual sharing of life (John 6:54-58). The Holy Communion or CHRIST therefore provides a platform and a key element for the body and the WORD within to interact. As a result of the fall of man, we lost contact with the Eternal Word of God as well as the divinity of God in us. Since the fall of man, living has been a difficult process, as all men have to consciously realize the divinity of God within in other to live well, and grow towards perfection, and to become perfect like God himself. In other to speed up the process of re – union between man and the Eternal Word of God, the divine consciousness of God – the ETERNAL WORD was begotten by God, took flesh and was born into mortal life as Jesus Christ. In Jesus Christ, we have a Master and Lord with a mission to redeem all men from the darkness and pains brought by the fall of man. His mission is to take man through a process of a new life in Christ, back to eternal life which man had lost as a result of his fall. The gift of eternal life through Christ is realizable only when we are able to receive or attain the eternal word of God which is the life giving force of God. At that point, we are born or begotten by God, just like Jesus Christ, and we then become true sons of God. (John 1:12 - 13) By the power of the eternal word of God, we are able to heal our body and mind, through the guardianship of Master Jesus Christ as Lord and savior. We do not boast about the abilities of the Spirit of God to bring about healing of the body and of the mind. With the greatest humility, we confirm that the Spirit of God working through us is able to bring about instant healing, and patients can actually receive healing within the first few days of prayers and meditations, while complete healing is achieved over a period of time, usually within six months of commencement of prayers. This is very possible NOT WITHSTANDING THE NATURE OF THE AILMENT. In our healing administration, the life giving breath of God – His Eternal Word does not fail to actualize healing and has never failed us at the hospice, except in situations where the supreme will of God brings about a transition of the patient. At the Hospice, clinical and therapeutic measures are also largely administered. Where necessary, surgery is carried out on the patients. This is to quicken natural healing of the body which are completely broken down as a result of long sickness, emergency needs or serious viral damage to cells of the body.
