THE COMPLETE TRUTH! (PART 2 OF 2)

29th SEPTEMBER 2020

‘To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said’, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” – John 8:31-32

Today, we continue our reading on why we must have faith in the teachings of Jesus Christ. Before we proceed any further, I like to ask you today; “Are you ready to believe and to hold onto the teachings of Jesus Christ”?

But one thing is very certain; the truth will set you free from mental slavery and the evil devices of men and demons. Jesus preached a message of deliverance, and except His UNDILUTED message is very clear to you, you are yet to be delivered indeed! My mission is to bring you face to face in agreement with the spirit and life of the word of God! The good news is that the grace of God is always there to refocus us along the path of right belief each time we derail, provided that we are ready to let Jesus make a difference in our lives! It does not make any sense to continue to resent or reject the teachings of our lord and savior. Life becomes simpler, and the language of the universe is easily understood when we allow His word to move us to a higher dimension on the spiritual landscape! Open your hearts today to receive Him! Embrace Jesus in his teachings and experience a total transformation! Become the person you are destined to be by His grace. In Jesus, you have a total deliverance from doubts and worries! In Jesus lies perfect health and wealth which only God can provide! For instance, Jesus made a walloping statement in John 8:34 thus, “Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who commits sin is a slave to sin.” But He quickly says in verse 36 thus, “So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed”. To be a slave to sin is to disregard the Lord, thereby putting yourself in perpetual bondage. Conversely, to be delivered from sin is to accept the truth contained in the master’s teachings and apply the same to your life. Addressing those who agreed to follow Him, Jesus says to them, ‘If you hold to my teachings, you are really my disciples’” (John 8:31). Now I want you to take note that true discipleship does not come from a classroom learning, or laying hands on you by anyone, rather, true discipleship comes from your readiness to follow and to obey the Master. This is a personal decision that you must take at some points in the journey of life! Today’s scripture reminds us that those who are “REAL” followers of Jesus Christ will “hold to” His teachings. That means they will not only accept His teachings as truth, but they will also obey His teachings and do as He says. It is only when we accept the truth contained in His teachings can we truly access His spirit and life. James says; action is proof of faith! (James 2:17). It is my prayer today that the Holy Spirit will guide you into a perfect revelation of the higher knowledge and truth about Christ who is the manifestation of the word of God. He is also the Spirit and the life of God!

PRAYER

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, today I open my heart to receive your word and I declare your word finds fertile ground in my heart to grow. From this day onward, I declare I am completely free from the manipulations of contrary spirits and vile men. Therefore, I decree that I am greatly empowered by your spirit and life. AMEN
