THE INNER CONNECT – COMING TO KNOW JESUS CHRIST

“That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner man” – Ephesians 3:16

 

To connect with God through your inner man has always been a wonderful experience. It is an experience that makes you know God better. It is an experience that brings you closer to Jesus and makes you walk and work with him daily.  

The word of God says today that God is in your inner Spirit already; i.e. God is an integral part of your inner man or Spirit. Through your inner man, you will achieve your connection with Christ who lives in you.  When we reach this inner connection with our Spirit or inner man, we automatically become attuned with Christ in us! At that point, we are no longer the same. He who is in touch with Christ has all! That is because an encounter with Christ in you summarises our journey as pilgrims on the earth.

The essence of Christ in our life is to empower or anoint us for victory in all spheres of life. The fact is that a firm understanding of this ancient mystery of Christ in you, as revealed by Paul, gives us the power to become more potent in prayers. Our prayer life becomes more assuring and meaningful when we are genuinely connected with Christ through the inner man. What are the benefits of this excellent internal connection with Christ through your inner man?

–         We become much more focused on life

–         We become healthier

–         We become victorious under challenging situations.

–          We gain inner peace and contentment.

–         We can achieve every other positive thing we seek. That is because the one who is in touch with the Christ within is a dweller in the kingdom of God, which lies in him. The scripture says we should seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all the things we need in our day to day life would be added unto us.

–         The humanity in us radiates with selfless service and great compassion for humanity. Then we can give to others cheerfully.

–         The power to receive revelation or vision becomes heightened.

The journey of life is smoother and meaningful with Jesus Christ.  When you come to know Jesus, you will never do anything in life without first consulting with him; he never disappoints; always several miles ahead of you to perfect all things according to His riches in glory. I cannot describe the joy in my heart as I write this message to you; this is because when you have Jesus, you have everything.

How do you achieve this inner connection? ONE, realize that Christ in you is the hope of glory. HE LIVES IN YOU TO PERFECT YOUR LIFE. Ask God in prayers to reveal this mystery to you. TWO, bury your pride and ask God for wisdom in prayers. Ask for power to exercise faith with confidence. For without faith, it’s difficult to please God. THREE, begin to trust God in little things. Commit all your ways to Jesus, even in pains, tests and trials of life; I bet you that His grace is truly sufficient for you. This is because God will guide you in all your ways, and His divine will protect your actions.

Prayer

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I declare I am in divine alignment with thee today as always. Your word abides in me, and I take in you. I decree goodness, favour and victory into my life today. I live this day by your divine plan and purpose for me. Thank you, father, in Jesus name.
