THIS IS YOUR TIME TO RECEIVE FROM GOD!

9th NOVEMBER 2021

“The impotent man answered him, Sir; I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me. Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk” – John 5:7-8 (KJV)

This topic has become recurrent to strengthen us in this period of adversity and national instability. Although it is natural to fall sick, it is the will of God to heal us. All that is required is to attune to His healing powers.

At times we are healed in good time. At other times, healing takes time to come. Yet, recovery is completely shut down; the ailment becomes terminal, leading to death eventually. At the Bethesda pool in Jerusalem was an invalid who had been ill for thirty-eight years. He was greatly limited in his opportunity to get healed because the pool allows healing for one person at a time.

At certain seasons, an angel would descend into the pool and stir its waters, and whichever invalid got there first after the water is stirred get healed. The others would have to wait for another season. Jesus bypassed the rest invalids at the poolside and came right for this one and said to him, “Do you want to be healed?” The sick man answered him, “Sir, I have no one to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up, and while I am going, another steps down before me.” Jesus said to him, “Get up, take up your bed, and walk.” And at once, the man was healed, and he took up his bed and walked.

But why was the man singled out for healing among the rest? Despite his limitations, the invalid faithfully remained by the pool, hoping to be healed one day. Jesus had compassion for the man because he had been there for a long time and would never have had the chance to enter the pool because he had no one to carry him inside.

Are you currently limited from assessing healing or any form of breakthrough in life? This could be as a result of finance or whatever reason. God says your healing or breakthrough has come now. Do not be destabilized, confused or feel dejected when your plans are not getting fulfilled. Open to Jesus today, for the push you need will be offered this morning.

As a child of God, you must learn to walk by faith and not by sight. Experiences of setbacks can be quite destabilizing, but do not look at obstacles, LOOK AT JESUS, who is capable of making a way where there is no way! If you have waited for this far for God to do it, then be assured that he will do it. You may have heard the news that you will not get there or receive that special upliftment you so much yearn for. But I tell you this morning; “Jesus is here, and your breakthrough is here and now!

Jesus is Lord! Do what is humanly possible and faithfully commit the rest to God through prayers. God knows your limitations and weaknesses; he is compassionate and merciful; be open-minded, vigilant and responsive to God’s directive.

PRAYER

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I thank you for your word of healing and victory; I declare I am a victor, and I receive my breakthrough this morning. Lord Jesus, you were pierced for my transgressions, you were crushed for my iniquities; the punishment that brought me peace was on you, and by your wounds, I am healed. Therefore, I declare that sickness and affliction are far from me from this day onward. Father, it is my turn to receive my breakthrough and advancement in life. I receive everything I need in Jesus name. AMEN.
