UNDERSTANDING THE POWER TO CREATE WHAT YOU WANT (PART 1 OF 3)

“Then God said, Let us make humankind in our image, according to Our likeness; and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the wild animals of the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth.” – Genesis 1:26

Why did God make us in His image and likeness, and NOT like other lower animals such as lizards or goats? This topic has again come up this time in order to help guide our thoughts in line with God’s divine purpose for us. Today’s scripture tells us that part of the reason God created us was to make us have dominion over all the animals and plants life throughout the world. This means we were born to dominate and exercise greatness over plants and animals. God also made us in His own image i.e. with a measure of power to act like Him here on earth.

Unfortunately, some of us do not seem to understand what power we have as children of God. We still allow people to control us! Truly, some cannot create good things for themselves as God would want us do! You see, some of us are not living our dreams because we allow others to control us. The problem starts with a loss of spiritual identity and then, a loss of confidence or faith in God.

What is your spiritual identity? Your spiritual identity is that you possess the qualities of God because God created you in His image and likeness. What do you look like as an image of God? The bigger truth about your spiritual identity is that you are a god in your domain. Just like God created the whole world for his pleasure, so you also can create your own world as you like. To create your own dream, you must realize that the setting of your life is like melodious music, which only you must compose and play to yourself. When you allow someone else to compose this music for you, he does it the way he likes, which may not sound good to your ears. FIRST, ask God to reveal His plan and purpose for your life. SECOND, write down your revelations. THIRD, begin to create your dream world with those plans.

PRAYERS

Father in the name of Jesus Christ, today, I assume my divine authority and power and I now create the dynamics of my life according to your plan and purpose for me. Lord, I take authority over all the elemental forces and I am unstoppable in creating my dream world NOW. Father, today, I silent and rebuke every opposing voice and hand, set to thwart or rebel against possession of my dream world. I retain every good thing I create, all for my pleasure and to the glory of God the father. Amen.
