“For each will have to bear his own load. Let the one who is taught the word share all good things with the one who teaches. Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap. For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life”. - Galatians 6:5-8
To take responsibility in life, we must be ready to do three things: ONE- We must take responsibility for our wellbeing and that of our family. Do not shift your responsibilities to others. TWO – You must take responsibility to do the will of God here on earth as it is in heaven. This means making yourself available to serve the purpose of God here on earth by doing what is laudable and praiseworthy for others, your community, your Church and the world at large. THREE – We must take responsibility for all our actions and not blame others for our failure. Remember, in every failure you experienced, you had a role to play in it. Accept your faults.
It is only by accepting your faults that you are able to correct your past mistakes, and be given the grace to move forward. The word of God is telling you today that, THE BREAKTHROUGH THAT YOU SEEK IS IN YOUR READINESS TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY AT ALL TIMES. WHEN YOU DARE TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY, YOU ARE GIVEN THE ABILITIES TO ASSUME YOUR VARIOUS RESPONSIBILITIES. One beautiful aspect of taking responsibility is that you are able to attract peace, love and harmony to yourself, family, Community, the Church and the world in general. Please note that you cannot evade your personal responsibility to exercise faith in Christ. Further to this, you would have successfully worked out your salvation when you assume your responsibility diligently.
