LET GOD TAKE CHARGE OF YOUR EXPECTATIONS!

“My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him” - Psalm 62:5

The journey of life is very rough. It is not meant to be made alone; you have to depend on someone someday for help as you journey on your paths. Sometime, we receive a helping hand; at some other times, we are shunned completely. One unfortunate incident is that, although God had wired each human being to show love and compassion, unfortunately, not up 99.9% of humans are ready to show and deploy genuine love and affection. This lapse is due to human imperfection to which we are often held accountable. This then means that only on rare occasions should you expect to have a helping hand in times of trouble and needs. Just like Angel investors are scarce, so also are ordinary domestic Angels, who are ready, no matter the situation, to lay down their lives or earned resources for the benefit of others. Therefore, beloved, rather than fret, sweat, faint and panic when things are wrong, JUST LET IT BE! Surrender all to God; He will redirect your failings on the path of restoration. We all do have various expectations in life. Some fulfilled, some half fulfilled, and still, some are never fulfilled. Our expectations are those things we so much desired to acquire, into which we have deployed our mental, emotional and psychological attention, as well as manpower and other resources.

Some of these expectations include, owning a home, a car, getting a high paid job, getting married or building a relationship, owning or getting funding for a business, etc. Should we really be disappointed if our expectations are not met? I think, not at all. The reason being that, getting worried or disappointed does not solve any problem, rather, it complicates it, and make us to lose focus of our success track. Three major reasons are responsible for us not being able to fulfill our expectations; ONE, our expectations are built on wrong assumptions or projections. Always base your expectations on expert opinion. TWO, placing hope of actualizing our expectations SOLELY on human elements; give God a central position in your decision making. THREE, acting without proper guidance from God; You have to manage your expectations, by asking God FIRST, to define and show the way you have to go in order to solve a problem. Inviting God to reveal what to expect in each situation we face, takes us several miles into the realm of fulfillment. When you are confronted with difficulties, ask God to show the way out; wherever He takes you is the way out of your problem! Therefore, do not be afraid, sweat, faint or panic when things are not going the way you think. This is because your expectations in this situation are woven around your heavenly father. When we are unable to put our trust in God concerning our dreams, we easily fall prey to manipulations by gullible persons, and if not cautious, could be derailed completely, and made to subscribe to those things not in our best interest as children of God. The word of God is telling us today to invite God into all our ventures, and let Him define the way we should go. Every of our expectations which comes from God usually fall in line with His promises, and He usually do not disappoint in seeing us through them. God may delay in answering you; He will definitely not deny you of His help in times of need. Therefore beloved, do not be worried; do not be anxious. Let God take the lead at the very beginning.

Prayer
Father in the name of Jesus Christ, I submit to your divine direction today, and I declare all my expectations are sanctified by thy spirit. Lord, I declare, your grace makes me strong in every area of my life. Father, touch me in a special way today. Thank you father, AMEN.
