“And God will generously provide ALL you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others” - 2 Corinthians 9:8
To become wealthy and prosperous is the prayer of everyone. Every person is looking forward to becoming rich and prosperous, reason being that everything in the world that gives happiness and wellbeing is tied to money. So this means you must work in order to earn money. All human beings, whether Christians or not, are wired by God to become rich and prosperous, but this reality is never fulfilled in the lives of so many. While so many are confortable or are extensively rich, some are definitely dislocated from the path of wealth and prosperity. Daily, we pray for financial breakthrough or success in our business. But a great number of these prayers are rarely answered. Why? This is because so many principles of God relating to prosperity are not carefully followed by many. For you to attract wealth, you have to follow these principles: FIRST, give to the poor and the needy within your family, or in the public (Luke 6:38). But when you give, give according to what you have. In Deuteronomy 16:17, the scripture says; “All must give as they are able, according to the blessings given to them by the Lord your God”. Therefore, at every point in time, you have something to give. Unfortunately, some people rarely give! Remember to give to the Lord as well. Yes, God does not need money, but we need money to administer the house of God and every Ministry commissioned by God. Sowing into God’s project or Ministry is good investment for the wise.
In Proverbs 3:9-10, the scripture says, “Honor the Lord with your wealth and with the best part of everything you produce. Then he will fill your barns with grain, and your vats will overflow with good wine” SECOND, Trust and have confidence in God (Jeremiah 17:7-8) When you build your trust in God, He never disappoints you. God receives the prayers of the righteous and ensures that the righteous is never forsaken. THIRD, be contended with what you have. Don’t love money; be satisfied with what you have (Hebrews 13:5) Further to this, Jesus says in Luke 12:15: “Beware! Guard against every kind of greed. Life is not measured by how much you own.” Beloved, today’s scripture reminds us of God’s wish to make us prosperous and rich; God is ready to provide ALL you need, and that you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others. Now that you know these principles, you have to start today to put then into constant practice. This means you don’t have to live in debt or in fear anymore about what the economy might do. As you practice these principles, only stand and be in prayer for financial breakthrough, and believe God for the increase and victory you need in your finances always!
