There is no fear in Love. But perfect Love drives out fear because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in Love – 1 John 4:18

The greatest attribute of God is Love. The Love of God keeps us alive, safe and strong. When we deserve to die due to sin, the LOVE OF GOD sets us free!

As children, we heard many fairy tales and Folklores, which sometimes give us fear. In the course of time, some of us have realized through education and religious teachings that these folklores are not real stories but merely told to instil discipline, courage, vigilance, care, etc. The same applies to the scriptures.

The scriptures are mostly allegories which should not generate fear in us but teach us how to move in the right direction, so we become God’s hands for good works. (2 Timothy 3:16-17). The Scripture is tailored to harmonise us with God through His divine will – LOVE. If we have Love in our hearts, we can flow with God on the same frequency! In God, there is no fear!

The Scripture tells us today that LOVE knows no fear, and the perfection we seek in Christ becomes possible when Love grows in our hearts. Love dispels darkness and neutralizes the witch’s negative salve. Love bends the sword and arrows of the wicked. Love knows no bounds and moves at the same frequency as God. If you have Love in your heart, you will move on the same level as God, and the Devil or demons would have no power over you. In 1 John 4:16, the Scripture says, “God is love, and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him”. AMEN

If you have Love in your heart, the Devil will not come near you: The Devil cannot harm you, except if you ally with evil. Some of the ways we associate with the Devil are:

1. Through our lower animal nature such as witchcraft, envy, jealousy, hatred, backbiting, unwarranted gossips, wanton wickedness, malice, covetousness, lies, and avarice. Through these tendencies, the Devil makes his way into our lives, and he generates fear in our mind. Fear, in turn, attracts ill luck and dangerous occurrences.

2. Through mental poisoning and psychic attacks. These happen when the psyche and mind have been greatly punctured by wrong teachings, beliefs, and violent conditioning situations such as abuse, terror and natural disasters.

PRAYER

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I accept your word of truth today, and I declare that LOVE grows in my heart. Therefore, I am free, and free indeed! AMEN.
