“So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed” – John 8:36

On 1^st October 2023, the people of Nigeria celebrate the anniversary of their independence from the colonial master, Britain. Happy celebration and Happy Holiday, Nigerians!

This message is not for Nigerians alone, but a letter to the whole world!  I have always said to you that true independence is freedom from DISEASE, IGNORANCE, AND POVERTY. Everyone ought to be genuinely free and independent from the shackles of disease, ignorance, and poverty.

For a nation to be free from major obstacles to life such as suffering and poverty, everyone in that country must be free from disease, ignorance, and poverty.  That also means that those whom divine providence has placed in the corridors of power and governance must embrace the spirit of servitude as well as selfless service with love. Service and sacrifice therefore become a deliberate attitude to pull the masses away from the deep abyss of trauma and suffering.

 Freedom from disease, ignorance, and poverty is a utopia that a nation must attain in order to be truly free.  How best do we achieve the utopia? Achieving a utopia is a collective responsibility. Not just the government, but the governed must also join hands to lift the nation to that desirable high pedestal of true freedom.  

To join hands in the fight for a utopia, everyone must make a deliberate effort to be responsible.  Everyone must also keep to the laws of the country and strive to honor, pray, and cooperate with those in authority. This is also the time for Christians to be doers of the word of God; Be obedient to the teachings of the master, and embrace the Christ spirit from within their hearts.

The good news remains that the knowledge of Jesus Christ and His redeeming Grace has set humanity free already from all earthly perplexities and suffering. But rather than let this knowledge work for us, we have instead sold our birthright to the devil who continues to hold us hostage. There is absolutely no difference between the one held hostage by the devil and a nation still being held down by left-handed leadership that cannot make the necessary sacrifices to serve the needs of the populace.! This is the time to gain true independence from the seen and unseen powers of evil as well as deficient leadership.

Many did NOT follow Jesus during His time because they had problems with His claims of being the SON OF GOD and His DIVERGENT TEACHINGS, which were unique and different from the trend at that time. Even though the message of salvation by Jesus was unmistakable, the world still, has not embraced the victory of the cross.

The so-called “divergent” teachings of the master point to the fact that true freedom comes from a wholehearted acceptance of the universality of God, as well as the brotherhood of mankind. Therefore, to love God with all our hearts, as well as loving our neighbors as much as ourselves becomes a cardinal principle of life to which all mankind must align to achieve victory from disease, ignorance, and poverty. Are you ready to align with this cardinal principle of life?

Has the master truly set out the paths that lead to the realization of the much-desired and awaited utopia? Yes. He has! But the journey is easier with every true disciple of Christ. When they first started, the disciples of Christ embraced humanity – Jews and Gentiles alike by the power of the holy spirit that never discriminates among the children of God. If God manifested Jesus to destroy every evil work of the devil, then every disciple of Christ is set free already. Therefore, to tap into the power of the Divine Spirit of Christ, we must become true disciples of the master.   

The reason is that every disciple is empowered by the Holy Spirit who gives the power that:

·        Breaks every yoke;

·        Gives us the ability to take authority in prayers;

·        Gives us the ability to hold onto God by faith;

·        Gives the ability to recognize His grace upon our lives;

·        Gives the power to be free from ignorance, disease, and poverty;

·        Gives the power to be free from the evil machinations of men. 

 The word of God is telling us today to embrace the cardinal principle of life, which is acceptance of the universality of God, and the brotherhood of mankind. This means we must each love our creator – God, as well as love each other. It follows that, if we deliberately pour out love into the world, the world will give us love in return.

Love propelled by the cardinal principle of life will align us with the most incredible power of God, lying deep within each human on earth. That power is the divine principle of Christ, which God has placed in the hearts of all men. The assignment to all disciples of Christ is to discover Christ within. The Bible teaches that Christ in you is the Hope of Glory. Irrespective of your religion, discover the spirit of Christ today. He lives in every man!

Beloved, it is Christ’s spirit that truly sets us free from disease, ignorance, and poverty! The much-awaited utopia will manifest when humanity embraces the divine spirit of Christ from within its soul.

Once again, I wish you happy independence, Nigerians. Also, happy independence to everyone as you individually take the bold steps to align with the Divine Spirit today – the power that sets you free lies within you!

PRAYER

Father in the name of Jesus Christ, I thank you for the revelation in your word today. Father, I ask for your Grace to partake of the divine nature of Christ – my Lord and Savior. The Holy Spirit quickens me with the power to overcome and to create every reality in my life. AMEN.
