AUTHOR: MARY LAWRENCE-DOKPESI

SCRIPTURE:

Psalm 23:5-6 (You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.)

SPIRITUAL POSTULATION:

Abundance is here for you. Be open to receiving it with gratitude.

REFLECTION

Read Psalm 23:5-6 slowly, savouring each word. “You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.” Visualize the scene. The Shepherd, God, tenderly prepares a banquet even amidst opposition. You are not alone, uncared for. He anoints you with oil – a symbol of favour, joy, and protection. Your cup, representing blessings, brims over, spilling abundance into your life.

This verse isn’t about material wealth alone. It speaks of a deeper richness – inner peace, resilience, and the knowledge that you are loved and provided for. Even in darkness, God’s light shines, illuminating your path with opportunity and blessings.

Remember, abundance isn’t just about what you have; it’s about your perspective and your connection to the Source of all good things. Embrace the overflowing cup God offers, and walk in the richness of His presence.

PRAYERS

Dear Lord, help me see the abundance already present in my life, even amidst challenges. Thank you for your unwavering love and care. Open my eyes to receive your blessings with a grateful heart. Amen.

TAKE ACTION

Today, list three things you’re grateful for, no matter how seemingly small. Gratitude opens your heart to receive more abundance. Thank God for His provision, even if it doesn’t look exactly how you imagine.
