BRIDGING THE GAP – CONNECTING YOUR HEART WITH CHRIST!

^“The mystery that has been kept hidden for ages and generations, but is now disclosed to the Lord’s people. To them, God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory” – Colossians 1:26-27

Cardinal teaching of the Living Waters Mission is that Christ lives in all human beings no matter your faith, culture, religion and tribe. Still, not everybody is able to realise Christ within. That is the reason we teach this topic most of the time.

It is no longer a secret that the Spirit of Christ dwells in us, perfecting all that pertains to us. But how to get to Christ within continues to be a challenge to all. Each would have to reach this power of God within to manifest the things that we desire in life. The bible says, Christ in you is the power that connects you with the glory of God; it connects you to wealth and health (Colossians 1:26 – 27). Not everyone is able to connect with Christ within. To bridge the gap between us and Christ within is like lifting the ancient gates, and causing the everlasting doors to move to enable us to access Christ in our hearts (Ref: psalm 24)

Christ is the eternal word of God that created all things and, therefore, can create for us anything we want. The principle, therefore, is to connect your heart with Christ’s Spirit at all times! When your heart is thus connected, you will experience the sublime presence of God which brings God’s love and anointing to cause magnificent manifestations to happen. The bible says, in the presence of God there is an anointing that breaks every yoke!

Connect, therefore, your heart with God by meditating on God’s word daily, especially at quiet times in the morning and late at night before going to bed. You will be amazed at what happens thereafter. The presence of the Lord will overwhelm your heart and spread to touch every aspect of your life. You will never be the same again!

PRAYER

Lord Jesus Christ, I ask that you connect my heart with thy Spirit today so that I may experience your presence and anointing in my life. Thank you, Jesus, for the power of your love. AMEN

Mary Lawrence-Dokpesi

Mary Lawrence-Dokpesi was born in Nigeria to Patrick Abuda Obeakemhe and Juliana Fatimatu Obeakemhe, both from Ogbona Town. With a master’s degree in law, she was called to the bar at the age of twenty-two, and she is currently the principle partner of the law firm Mary Lawrence-Dokpesi & Associates. She is also the founder of two philanthropic organizations: the Living Waters Mission and the Rose Croix Foundation. In addition to law, Lawrence-Dokpesi was drawn to spiritual pursuits at an early age, having begun studying philosophy, theology, chaplaincy, and spirit therapy by the age of eighteen. Inspired by her spiritual calling, she has produced ten intensively researched manuscripts on spiritual matters. Although Understanding the Spiritual was the last to be written, it is the first to be published. Lawrence-Dokpesi is a mother and a wife living in the city of Abuja, Nigeria.
