CROSSING THE BRIDGE OF TROUBLED WATERS

^“Has a nation changed its gods, which are not gods? But My people have changed their Glory for what does not profit” – Jeremiah 2:11

There are many situations in life that keep us stagnant on either the material or spiritual plane.  These situations result from wanting to stick to a wrong job, a way of life, or a set of beliefs. Again, many are clouded by a very wrong attitude to life and can neither keep a good job nor sustain one. Some do not understand what is called mutual respect or courtesy.  

When we stick to wrong values or are badly behaved, we suffer a lot of troubles, leading to loss of well-being, lack of recognition, or even rejection. However, one thing is true in life, which is that no condition is permanent, and the only constant thing in life is change. This is basically so because life is on the move; As the philosophers would say, life and nature are constantly becoming or undergoing a state of evolution.

Therefore, everyone has an opportunity to experience growth after a decline or to move out of trouble and negative situations completely. Often, the shift that we are expected to make has the tendency of affecting our minds or psyche.  The shift will also touch our faith, thereby giving us the Grace to leap in faith across the bridge of stagnation and troubles to the other side of life, where we have a good life and total well-being. 

The word of God is telling us today to change our wrong values and negative mindset to behold a new horizon for success and well-being.  That also means a nation must necessarily worship the living God to attract prosperity. The people must not chase after vain things that do not yield profit to their souls; Otherwise, they will remain poor.

Therefore, every negative action on our part has a corresponding negative experience and that is bound to catch up with us someday. Note that our attitude or wrong choices are majorly responsible for the troubles we experience in life.

To go above the troubles of life, first, you have to have faith and believe in God; focus and believe in a new life flourishing with supernatural abundance in Christ Jesus. Secondly, we have to drop our old selves and unproductive attitude; Consult and take the right decisions, wear a new cloak of patience, and lean on Faith’s staff.

PRAYER

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I trust in your power to lead me out of every chasm of confusion, hopelessness, faithlessness and wrong values presently inhibiting the fulfillment of your purpose and plan for me. Therefore, I declare that your power now works in my life, by thy will, and like Joshua, I shall henceforth succeed in the most important activities of my life.  AMEN.
