“So, he said to me, “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the Lord Almighty” – Zechariah 4:6
There is no doubt that sometimes, we move forward with our ideas and yet everything comes crashing down like a pack of cards. That does not mean that God has failed in His promise to help us succeed, but it is just that once in a while, such things are bound to happen for various reasons. One reason great ideas fail is our inability to do our bits properly when nurturing or growing our great dreams.
Everything has a life cycle of conception, birth, growth, maturity, and death. When we give birth to a child, we have to nurture the child and give adequate care to ensure that the child grows strong and well. If the child falls sick, we must give the necessary medication to cure him. Also, when the child is hungry, we have to give him food. We also have to give other basic things of life to the child. Without food, medicines, and other basic things, the child might not survive for too long at the appropriate time. That in itself does not mean that God did not want the child to live or that God has failed in His promise to keep the child alive. It is basically because we have also failed in our human responsibility towards the child.
The same applies to your goals. You must perform your human roles properly at the right time while leaving the rest to God in prayers and supplications. Therefore, at every point in time in the course of manifesting your desires or plans, do everything humanly possible to sustain your goals. The efforts you put in will determine how far God would move with you.
Today is another day to move forward with your goals. Believe first in yourself as deserving and capable of receiving the blessing from God, and then ask God to go with you all the way.
PRAYER
Father in the name of Jesus Christ, today, I stand on the authority of your word in Isaiah 41:10 and I declare that all my fears and doubts are gone, and I am greatly empowered and strengthened by your spirit. Father, I decree victory, success, and a breakthrough in my life today. AMEN.
