“There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens: Ecclesiastes” 3:1
Everything that happens in life occurs in line with some divine programming. There are some excellent moments or periods in life when positive things happen. It so happens that by some divine providence, we experience shifts or opportunities that favour the outright manifestations of great benefits. If we do not take hold of the change or opportunity when they come up, the chances are that we may lose out, and getting such opportunity again might take quite a while.
Further to that, there are other periods when negative things must happen. Therefore, if we are not careful during those negative periods, we might sustain some losses, some of which might be irreversible. We pray without ceasing to take advantage of these positive and negative periods for our benefit. There is little you can do about timing; I am afraid to say beloved! That is because these things happen when they must happen.
God has a plan and gives you chances; He put good things in front of you that you can choose to take or not. Also, some periods are marked RED, warning us to be careful, so we do not fall into the enemies’ traps. However, in this devotional, we shall dwell more on how we may get hold of positive opportunities leading to our breakthroughs.
Divine timing goes for everything beloved. We have been given many opportunities throughout our lives in the past, and we will receive many more in the future. These opportunities can be significant, small, obvious, or hidden, but they are always there, and each of them is potent with an impact. I want you to understand that every action creates a ripple effect. When you toss a tiny pebble in a lake, the waves grow bigger and bigger. After all, “from small acorns do big oaks grow” beloved. Something doesn’t have to be huge to be important, so try to pay attention to the small things you see around you.
In most cases, within these small things lies some life-changing opportunities waiting to explode. If you close your eyes and walk away, that is the end; you simply will miss it! So please be very careful when you evaluate situations.
Also, please pay attention to the world around you because when you’re open to it, the world opens for you. A significant positive change can occur by doing something to appreciate someone who has been kind to you in the past. If you miss out on such an opportunity, the chances are that you may never receive assistance from that person again, or at least for a very long time to come. A significant positive change can also occur by doing something as small as throwing a reassuring glance at the right person at the right time! It could also be as small as a smile and a compliment to the right person at the right time, bringing a whole world of difference to you.
The person you glanced at or gave the compliment might not be your destiny enabler or helper, but this person will be essential and could start the ripple effects that will guide you to the perfect breakthrough that you deserve. So please, beloved, be receptive, polite, and in the right frame of mind at all times; Treat people around you with respect all the time. Two good accounts in the scripture that readily come to mind here are the cases of Zacchaeus and blind Bartimaeus. Jesus was entering and passing through Jericho with several opportunities for the multitude, but it was only blind Bartimaeus and Zacchaeus that ultimately recognized and utilized the opportunities (Luke 18:35-43 & 19:1-10)
Today’s world says there is a time and season for everything under the sun. As I already stated above, opportunities are laid bare upon your paths, but you have to seize them and convert them for your breakthroughs.
PRAYER
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I ask that you quicken my spirit from this day onward and grant me the power to recognize the opportunities that you have laid on my paths. Father, unite me with my destiny helpers today as you order my feet along the right paths, I decree, and I declare that my breakthrough is NOW, and I am unstoppable. AMEN.
