Today’s Scriptures:“And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his WILL he hears us. And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of him (1 John 5:14-15)

Very often, responses to prayers are delayed, not because God cannot fulfill every of His promise to us, but because we have not prayed correctly. Although God has a plan and purpose for us, He nevertheless gives us power to make choices for ourselves. But we have seen that due to human weakness, most of the choices that we make are not good for us. To pray that God’s will be done in your life is to submit to God’s guidance when making your various choices in life.

God will not control your choices, except you solicit for His guidance. When you rely on God in your choices, He is moved to manifest the blueprint of your life. You will experience a fulfilled life if you allow God to rule over your choices; this is because only God gives without adding sorrow; He is the only one who can declare the end from the beginning and things from the ancient times not yet revealed. To pray into the plan of God for you is to tap into the heart and soul of God, and His response is usually instant.

Father in the name of Jesus Christ, I submit myself to your guidance today. Lord, I desire to fulfill my destiny in Christ Jesus, therefore, let thy will be done in my life. Today, I silenced every spirit of greed, infirmity, weakness and lust which may continue to undercut the way I should live and I am completely redeemed from every negative undercurrent, orchestrated to prevent me from becoming the person you want me to be. Father, my destiny shall not be cut short or truncated by any device or pronouncement made against me in heavens, on earth or beneath the earth. Lord, from this day onwards, I declare your authority over all my choices and I establish myself firmly in your word. Amen.
