“For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be - Psalm 139:13-16
There is no doubt that, for so many reasons, some people are not happy with where they are at the moment in terms of their career and vocation. You may want to find out why you are not so happy. While some are moving with confidence toward a desired goal in their job, others seem to be drifting along from day to day without any sense of purpose or direction. There are two basic reasons why people are disillusioned in life; (1) people have lost sight of who God made them to be and what He wants them to do; (2) People are not actively, intentionally, and purposefully pursuing what the Father has planned and desired for them. If you truly want to pursue and reach your full potential, then you must first agree that God has placed something in you to enable you move higher. Second, you must agree that if you still cannot make it to the top despite the power of God in you, then you must have willingly chosen to remain stagnant. Therefore, you have to break out from that position of vocational compromise. Today, I encourage you to begin to see yourself the way God sees you. God sees you through eyes of love and forgiveness. He sees where you are, but --- more importantly -- He sees the person He made you to be. God sees all the awesome potential and possibilities He created you to fulfill. Therefore, you must now begin to dislodge yourself from your unsatisfactory situation, and rediscover your potentials to enable you move higher. Are you ready and willing to discover and align yourself with God’s plan and purpose for you? When you allow the plan and purpose of God to rule or guide your life, He will bless you more than you could ever imagine. This is because God promises to bless you with life at its best. He sees the restored joy, peace, and sense of accomplishment that He wants in your life. Today’s word is telling you that: 1. You Are Fearfully and Wonderfully Made. 2. God Knows Everything about You. 3. God Is the Author and Finisher of Your Days. Therefore, you are awesome and full of capacity to become what God wants you to be. Although the reality of life is that every person is born into circumstances with both good and bad aspects; and each of us will encounter a degree of evil and righteousness in different forms, that should not be a reason to lose faith in life.
The good news is that, notwithstanding your present limitations, you have the potentials to move up the ladder to an incredible status; that is the will of God for everyone. God gave us His power of creativity for we are made in His image and likeness. God also gave us the Holy Spirit who is always with us to empower us to face any limited or adverse situations. Your purpose on this earth is to develop your God-given gifts, talents, and abilities to the best of your ability so you can impact the world around you for Christ. Therefore, God will not stop working for you until you achieve His will on earth. Beloved, I want you today to ask God the following questions: "What do You want to do in my life?"
"What do You want to do through my life?"
"What do You still desire for me to experience?"
"What possibilities lie within me?"
"What potential lies before me?"
"What could I become?"
"What did You have in mind when you created me?"
"What do You desire for me?"
As you do that, meditate on God’s word for you today. God will speak to you and show you the way out of your present situation. God will show you in what manner your potentials will glorify Him. Lean on God for only Him can show the way!
