Today’s Scriptures: “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them” – Ephesians 2:10
To take responsibility in life, we must be ready to do three things: ONE- We must take responsibility for our wellbeing and that of our family. Do not shift your responsibilities to others. TWO – You must take responsibility to do the will of God here on earth as it is in heaven. This means making yourself available to serve the purpose of God here on earth by doing what is laudable and praiseworthy for others, your community, your Church and the world at large. THREE – We must take responsibility for all our actions and not blame others for our failure.
Remember, in every failure you experienced, you had a role to play in it. Accept your faults. It is only by accepting your faults that you are able to correct your past mistakes, and be given the grace to move forward. The word of God is telling you today that, THE BREAKTHROUGH THAT YOU SEEK IS IN YOUR READINESS TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY AT ALL TIMES. WHEN YOU DARE TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY, YOU ARE GIVEN THE ABILITIES TO ASSUME YOUR VARIOUS RESPONSIBILITIES. One beautiful aspect of taking responsibility is that you are able to attract peace, love and harmony to yourself, family, Community, the Church and the world in general. Please note that you cannot evade your personal responsibility to exercise faith in Christ. Further to this, you would have successfully worked out your salvation when you assume your responsibility diligently.
Father in the name of Jesus Christ, I hold on to your word today and I declare I am redeemed from the mistakes of my parents or my roots. It is well with me always and I shall enjoy the fruits of my deeds. Lord, I rebuke the sin of Jonah, rather, like Paul; I declare power and grace to overcome every inhibition standing against my obligations to my ministry, my Community and the world at large. Father, by your power, I sanctify my thoughts, words and actions NOW, and I have become a living vessel for thy spirit to move mightily throughout the world. AMEN.
