TAKE A JOURNEY TO YOUR BREAKTHROUGH TODAY

28th MARCH 2023

“God is not a man, so he does not lie. He is not human, so he does not change his mind. Has he ever spoken and failed to act? Has he ever promised and not carried it through?- Numbers 23:19

Recently, I thought of refreshing my mind with some motivational tips, and I stumbled on a plaque with the following inscription, “The road to success is always under construction”. On the back of the plaque is written, “If you can dream it, you Will achieve it”.

No doubt, those two inscriptions are motivational enough to spur anyone to act with determination in the pursuit of a set goal. But the road to success is usually not a smooth one, and not many are willing to journey through it. One great obstacle has always been FEAR TO VENTURE, especially when it will require us to spend money or make out time for something.

We do not want to lose money, so we decide not to take any risks. Fear and progress are enemies of each other, always fighting each other for supremacy. When we become intimidated by the things confronting us, we put the seed of doubt in our minds. We start to question our decisions, actions, and plans. In the process, procrastination will set in.

When fear joins procrastination, the time to actualize something becomes even more prolonged, resulting in delayed or postponed years. Years of procrastination can result in depression, worthlessness, anger, regret, and blaming others for our own faults and shortcomings. No doubt, fear can prevent some of the best things from hitting the surface of life, but we can control fear, and prevent it from destroying our aspirations.

Are you currently procrastinating about moving from where you are at the moment and embracing where you believe God wants you to be? This is the time to leap in faith. Remember, no matter how much mentorships or motivational talks go into you, from training, books, or during your Sunday worship at church, they will not affect anything in your life if you are still doubtful or afraid to apply them to your life.

The word of God is telling us today to shove away fears and doubts and have a leap of faith with full assurance that success will come our way.  Place your trust in God today; He does not fail anyone who holds onto Him. He is not a man who is unpredictable and lacking in moral integrity.

PRAYER

Father in the name of Jesus Christ, today, I hold onto your word in Isaiah 41:10, and I declare that all my fears and doubts are gone, and I am greatly empowered and strengthened by your spirit. Father, I decree victory, success, and breakthrough into my life today. AMEN.
