TRUST AND HOPE IN GOD! (PART 1 OF 3)

“Then God said, Let us make humankind in our image, according to our likeness; and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the wild animals of the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth.” – Genesis 1:26

How do you look as an image of God? The bigger truth about your spiritual identity is that you are a god in your domain. That is so because:

1.     God created you to be in charge of the earth. Therefore, take control and manage it according to His plan and purpose.

2.     Having God’s qualities means you can also create your world or reality the way God created the universe. Therefore, speak to life the things that you desire!

To realize God’s power in you requires continuous practice. In fact, it is a lifetime project of consistent work and prayers. I must say it is not easy. But if you deploy your mind, thoughts, and actions toward it, you will get there before you know it.

Therefore, although God created us to be like Him, still, we must work our way to realize this potential. The following steps will help you:

1.     Do not confess that negative thought in your mind anymore. Rather speak life to every situation around you (Proverbs 30:32). Speak good to your spouse, children, home, and church, and you will see the fruits germinating. The Bible says that it shall come to pass when we decree a thing (Job 22:28).

2.     Practice forgiveness, and see others’ weaknesses as a ladder to climb to the throne of God.

3.     Share love freely, but be careful not to fall prey to the evil machinations of familiar spirits. Therefore, pray and believe that the love of God will shield you as you show love in turn to others.

4.     Ask God for His plan and purpose for you, then begin to create your dream world along those plans.

PRAYERS

Father in the name of Jesus Christ, today, I take hold of my divine authority and power, and I now create the dynamics of my life according to your plan and purpose for me. Lord, I take authority over all the elemental forces, and I am unstoppable in creating my dream world NOW. Father, today, I silent and rebuke every opposing voice and hand, set to thwart or rebel against my possessions. I retain every excellent thing I create, all for my pleasure and to the glory of your name. AMEN.

Mary Lawrence-Dokpesi was born in Nigeria to Patrick Abuda Obeakemhe and Juliana Fatimatu Obeakemhe, both from Ogbona Town.
