“I can do all things through him who gives me strength.” – Philippians 4:13
Some of us pray so much and fast every day, and still, nothing has changed in our lives. That is because we are yet to take the right decision. You take the right decision when, first you pray, and thereafter take the right step in the right direction regarding what you have prayed for. What prayer and fasting do for us is to activate the power of God in us for inspiration, ideas, inner strength, knand owledge to attract the necessary opportunities, and the power to manifest our goals.
Jesus gave an important principle for actualizing prayers which are often misinterpreted. Jesus says in Matthew 7:1-8 thus: “Ask, and it will be given you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened”.
What that means is that God is able to provide for us if we ask aright. As we ask, seek, and knock in the realm of the spirit, so we must duplicate that effort in the physical. Therefore, to achieve our desires, we must first, ask by faith in prayers. We then move forward in search of our goals, ably guided by faith. Knocking the doors of others, ably guided by faith in God means that when we approach anyone, we must believe that God will crown our efforts with success, and cause men to favour us. All three – Ask, seek and knock constitute a line or a chain of action that must be done together each time we are pressed for a need.
Therefore, we do not ask in prayers without making efforts in the physical to search for what we need. Likewise, we cannot seek or knock over the place without first asking, seeking, and knocking in the realm of the spirit. To ask, seek and knock in the realm of the spirit, means we have to pray, fast, and apply faith in the physical. Therefore, after you have first asked God in prayers, take the right steps, believing God for His word.
Therefore, even though the word of God today says we can get all things through Christ which strengthens us, nevertheless, we are rewarded according to our abilities and the efforts we put into realizing our goals.
Therefore, the lame, the blind and the deaf will get their rewards in prayers. Although they cannot move, see, or hear, God will still reward them according to their abilities; Provided they put in minimum efforts on their part and they also are making the right decision! (John 5:7).
Today is a day to start afresh! Back up your goals with action and prayers. Do not be afraid to dare. Step out of your comfort zone by faith!
PRAYERS
Lord Jesus Christ, today, I assume my divine authority and power, and I now create the dynamics of my life according to your plan and purpose for me. Lord, I take authority over all the elemental forces, and I am unstoppable in creating my dream world now. Father, today, I silent and rebuke every opposing voice and hand, set to thwart or rebel against me possessing my goal. I have and retain every good thing I create, all for my pleasure and to the glory of God the father. Amen.
