2021 – A YEAR OF PEACE, HEALING AND FORGIVENESS

2nd – 5th JANUARY 2021

“Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth” – 3 John 1:2 (KJV)

On this auspicious moment, we turn our back on the year 2020, and we welcome the year 2021 with hope, courage and faith. I cannot help but celebrate the passing of the year 2020 and the birth of the year 2021. Both the end and the beginning are significant moments in our life. For me, the year 2020 was a year of new beginnings, a year in which the old systems gradually broke down, giving way to a fresh start. In the year 2020, we saw the advent of a new lifestyle, or the “New Normal” as they usually call it.

The year 2020 had been quite devastating majorly due to the negative impact of COVID – 19 pandemic. Nevertheless, I decree and declare that the year 2021 is a year of Healing, Peace, and forgiveness; for God says, His wish above all things is that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. This declaration becomes obvious, when we introspect and reflect deeply on the previous year’s activities; We cannot help but feel the sharp pain of betrayal, disappointment, losses, hopelessness, and faithlessness still locked up, bottled up in us, waiting to explode someday. Therefore, the year 2021 is an excellent time to let go of the pain we feel inside of us and be more attune and open to the healing power of God, which restores and makes whole again. As you let go the past hurts, endeavour to keep to the word of God in obedience. When you obey God, the healing process begins; This is also the time to request that we become correctly aligned with the divine Spirit of God for healing, peace, and forgiveness.

Furthermore, this is also an excellent time to form new intentions for the new year 2021. While we may not be able to turn back the hand of time to correct the mistakes of 2020, we certainly do possess the power to make a difference in the new year 2021. How do we make a significant difference in 2021 to achieve healing, peace and forgiveness?

Our first principle towards self-actualization in the New Year is to let go of the past failings and regrets and focus on a brighter horizon stretched out before us; This means that we must necessarily forgive every wrong done to us! When we forgive others’ failings, we also experience a release from inner bondage standing against our healing, peace, and prospects.

Our second principle is that we embrace the light of Christ given to the masses at Christmas, which light is present in all things. As I stated previously, Christmas is a period of renewal and revival for all persons, irrespective of their religion, creed, race or culture. Christmas is a gift from God to humanity! The light of Christ gives us the hope of victory. The victory of the cross is for those in Christ; This is the time to recognize that Christ lives in you and then embrace Him from within for He is the hope of glory. Just have faith and believe that Christ lives in you!

The third principle, which is an extension of the second principle, is that we must continuously tune to the light of Christ in us. As a child of light who bears the light of Christ, you have the power to dispel darkness from your life; no power of darkness can attack you except you permit it. Therefore, you must continuously fan into flame the spirit of Christ in you by always spreading love and forgiveness to everyone, especially to your enemies and those who persecute you. I know this is very difficult to practice beloved, but you have to try to dispel the darkness in your life and place yourself on the path of victory and success. Healing comes to us when we freely forgive the wrong of others. Forgiveness also brings peace into our life! The light of Christ in you will always seek a total alignment with your innate spirit of love and forgiveness to perform signs and wonders for you, beloved.

I want you to note that one fundamental step we have to take in 2021 to achieve total healing and wellbeing is to give love and forgiveness to those who do not deserve it. By so doing, we will be healing our world of trauma and pain inflicted by COVID – 19 and other forms of diseases, ignorance and poverty. Ephesians 4:32 says, Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.” Forgiveness is an act of compassion, kindness, and mercy.

For the fourth principle, I want you to stand upon the authority of the word of God in Revelation 21:5 and soar like an eagle; do not be afraid to venture. In the same breath, lean on Isaiah’s prophecy for all the children of God as recorded in Isaiah 43:18 – 21. Finally, do not depart from the light of wisdom given to you in Job 11:14-18. These three pillars together form the fourth principle.

These four principles will keep you safe and sound at all times. On this auspicious moment, therefore, I want to wish you the best in 2021. My good thoughts rest upon the whole world today, primarily upon you who have been with me throughout 2020. May you be served, worshipped and nourished by all the spiritual forces of this day and beyond. AMEN.

HAPPY 2021 BELOVED, WISHING YOU A GREAT PROSPEROUS YEAR IN GOOD HEALTH.

PRAYER

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I let go of my travails and failings of the past years. I ask for the opportunity to become a perfect version of myself to fulfil your plans and purpose for me. Lord Jesus, grant me the power to move forward, not backward. Last year is gone with all its mistakes. I’m eager to put the past behind and to move forward on a solid foundation. This year, I decree I shall be a conqueror in all things. Thank you, Jesus, AMEN.
