DO NOT BE DECEIVED – GOD LOVES YOU IMMENSELY

Today’s Scriptures: “He that committeth sin is of the devil, for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil” – 1 John 3:8

The greatest gift of God to you is the gift of a new life in Christ. And that is because God loves you so much that He would not let you go through life in suffering and pain caused as a result of your sinfulness. The bible says; “He that committeth sin is of the devil, for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil” – 1 John 3:8

Anytime you are tempted to commit a sin, hold unto Jesus and plead the power of His Grace through His righteousness. Tell yourself you are righteous by His grace and sin has no hold upon you anymore. Watch and see how the devil flees from you each time you pray this simple prayer:

Prayer

Father in the name of Jesus Christ, I declare I am a product of the righteousness of Jesus Christ and His blood sets me free. Therefore, I now transcend the power of sin in my life, and I overcome by the power of the lamb, the lamb which was slain before the foundation of the world. Therefore, sin must be destroyed. For this reason, Jesus Christ was manifested so as to destroy the power sin, evil and death over my life. I am delivered and renewed by His blood, Spirit and Righteousness. Amen.
