THE TRUE DELIVERANCE

^“For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. Who is it that overcomes the world except the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God”? – 1 John 5:4-5

There is no doubt that so many are plagued by one impediment or the other. These impediments could manifest in the forms of addiction, infirmity, drunkenness, mental incapacity, fear and phobias, constant failure, wrong attitude, insincerity, envy and jealousy, demonic influences, spiritual and psychic attacks etc. In so many churches across the world, deliverance services are held so many times in a year with the aim of delivering the children of God from one affliction or the other. There do not seem to be an end to these deliverance services. The question is, why do the children of God suffer so much afflictions and fall constantly below the belt of spiritual and psychic attacks? This is a delicate question in the Church today, as well as in the general public. What is very clear is the fact that the weaker vessel is easily overcome by a stronger vessel. But a child of God truly born by the spirit of God is a stronger vessel in all respect and an overcomer in every latitude. Today’s word tells us that by placing faith in the Lordship and Sonship of Jesus Christ, we are truly delivered from afflictions and infirmities. This also means that our faith and belief that Jesus Christ is the son of God automatically translates us into a son of God, born by the Spirit of God ( John 1:12) The power of a son of God is the power of the word of God who is also God! A son of God is an overcomer, for his light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it (Ref: John 1:5) When the children of God, or believers constantly become apprehensive of dark powers or demonic influences overpowering them, then they need to re – examine their faith in the Sonship or Lordship of Jesus Christ.  The mystery here is our ability to submit to the ONLY, AND ONE TRUE power of God in us for total protection. If we are able to submit wholly to God who dwells in us, then He will in turn enlarge our faith to accept to reality of His omnipotent power. At that point, we become completely translated to a SON of His Spirit! A Son of God, born by the spirit of God fears nothing, and sees no darkness for he by himself is LIGHT that shines in the darkness and the darkness has not overcome him!Beloved, I need to emphasize here that God is Spirit, and Jesus Christ is also Spirit, and both dwells in you as one indivisible Spirit in unity with the Holy Spirit! Beloved, this is the power that overcomes the spirit of the antichrist as well as every other contrary spirit in the world. This is very correct because the scripture also says that, He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world! (1 John 4:3 – 4) From today, I want you to have a renewed understand of these matters so that you are not easily manipulated by the contrary spirits in the world. Affirm constantly to yourself the prayers below.

  PRAYER

Father in the name of Jesus Christ, I thank you for a renewed understanding of your word. I believe that your light and life in me is omnipotent and I trust in your protective coverage all the time. I declare that my faith in your omnipotence makes me a Son of thy Spirit. Therefore, I decree, and I declare that every yoke upon my life is broken NOW. Thank you, father. AMEN
