USING THE MIND AND IMAGINATION FOR POSTIVE TRANSFORMATION (PART 2 OF 4)

2^nd NOVEMBER 2019

“Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen” –   Ephesians 3:20-21

The scripture says we should ask, and we shall receive! But oftentimes, some of the things we experience in life are the things we never asked for. Why is this so? This brings us to a continuation of yesterday’s devotional. Why is it that those things we never asked for are the things we usually experience? it is so for two main reasons:

1.     Unknown to us, we have inadvertently created those negative things in our mind and they are now happening to us.

2.     Those things are the things we are possibly afraid of, which in our human weakness and frailty, we erroneously believe would one day happen to us. Alas! they actually take form and manifest in our lives, even though we do not like them and ordinarily would not like to experience them. But our negative mindset has attracted them to us.

Beloved, your mind power plays a significant role in manifesting the things you experience in your everyday life. What you believe and harbor in your mind would manifest someday! Be careful! If you watch carefully, you will discover that when you pray for something good to happen, the next thing that happens is that you will begin to doubt if what you ask for will manifest or not. That is the reason prayers are not answered.  Anytime you doubt God or yourself, or simply do not believe that your prayers will manifest YOU INSTANTLY WEAKENS THE POWER TO MANIFEST YOUR PRAYERS. Therefore, you must try as much as possible to remove doubts from your mind after you have prayed. Yes, I know it is difficult to remove doubts completely from our mind after we have prayed, BUT TRY AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE TO DISLODGE DOUBTS WHEN THEY COME UP IN YOUR MIND. TELL YOURSELF I AM WORTHY TO HAVE THESE THINGS I HAVE PRAYED FOR. I RECEIVE THEM IN JESUS NAME! Repeat that continuously to yourself, and you will get to a stage where your mind will get stabilized and you will then truly believe that YOU HAVE IT ALREADY. This is the power of positive affirmation which when repeated continuously, will stamp itself in our mind, and then manifest at the appropriate time. Therefore, if you repeat positive declarations to yourself over a period of time, your mind will begin to accept what you are prophesying or confessing to yourself. This is because , at that point, the power of the mind which is set into motion by your imagination or affirmation has started to form positive conclusions about what you are thinking or repeating to yourself. Your persistent action along this line would definitely bring into manifestation most of the things you truly desire. Unfortunately, some people would always imagine bad things happening to them, such as a witch killing them or taking away God’s blessings from them. NO! Please convert all your negative thoughts to their positive equivalent. For instance, rather than imagine that someone would harm you, imagine that SAME person blessing you instead! If you look at your accounts balances for instance, and you see no money in there, start to imagine money flowing into your accounts from known and unknown sources, and see yourself happy and living a fulfilled life. Don’t go about dejected and demoralized, or fret as if the world has ended. As you consistently imagine money flowing into your accounts, So God will begin to order your footsteps in the right direction where those things would actually manifest in your life. The change you expect would come through either a gift of money or a more paying job or an outright change of career. It can also come by you having a stronger motivation to start up a business of your own. The good news is that when the power of God in you begins to work for you, you will become more alert to opportunities around you. You will also be able to attract some possibilities you were unable to attract previously. You may even become interested in learning a new skill in order to fit into a new job. Whatever is necessary to make you achieve your needs will come your way somehow! Beloved, needless to say, that you will become well-positioned to receive manifold blessings through the work of your hands if you use your mind positively.

PRAYERS          

Father in the name of Jesus Christ, I ask that you take hold of my mind so I may bring forth healthy imagination. From this day onward, I declare that each of my positive thoughts shall manifest more than I have imagined. AMEN.
