Healing the Lame Beggar: Power in Action
Reflection:
As Peter and John head towards the temple, a familiar sight greets them – a lame beggar by the gate. Their hearts, ablaze with the Holy Spirit, see beyond his physical limitations. The air crackles with anticipation. Peter, a conduit of divine power, utters the life-changing words: “In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk!” Imagine the energy coursing through him, a tangible connection to the miraculous. The impossible happens. The man, invigorated by a force far greater than himself, throws off the shackles of his infirmity, leaping and praising God. This isn’t mere coincidence; it’s the resurrected Christ working through his disciples. This miracle isn’t just for them; it’s a tangible reminder that even in the ordinary, the extraordinary can erupt.
