There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens - Ecclesiastes 3:1

What does the scripture mean when it says there is a time for everything under heaven? Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 is a popular verse in the scriptures which deals with the natural circles of life and fate that affects all men. It says:
“There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under the heavens:
a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and a time to dance,
a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing,
a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,
a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,
a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace.”

Why do we have to do things at specific time and seasons? What is the auspicious timing for us to act and carry out our daily activities? The questions keep rolling out. But one thing is very clear, and that is the fact that doing things at the right time and season bring significant positive results to us; the things done at the right time in good season have tendency to endure and to last longer. We are safer and stronger when we do things at the right time and season. This is very much so because the scripture says that; “God has made everything beautiful in its time” (Ecclesiastes 3:11). This means that our activities must be done at the right time and season in order to be profitable and enduring and to bring to pass the beautiful plan and purpose of God for us. What is this season or timing? The season or time is a spiritual undercurrent running through nature and greatly affecting everything that we do. This undercurrent sets out the timing for all things under the sun, and not keeping to the season will reduce our opportunities to actualize our desires. The scripture opens up this touching point in Ecclesiastes 9:11 thus:
“ I saw something else under the sun: The race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong; neither is the bread to the wise, nor the wealth to the intelligent, nor the favor to the skillful; rather, time and chance happen to all”.
Here the scripture is further saying that, still under the sun, you will find that the; the fastest runner doesn't always win the race, and the strongest warrior doesn't always win the battle. The wise sometimes go hungry, and the skillful are not necessarily wealthy. And those who are educated don't always lead successful lives. It is all decided by chance, by being in the right place at the right time. Beloved, starting from today, pray fervently for God to align you with the right time and season so that His plan and purpose will be fulfilled in your life.

Prayer
Father in the name of Jesus Christ, I open my heart to receive your word today. Minister to me, and align me perfectly with the right time and season so your beautiful plan and purpose will come to pass in my life. AMEN
