CALLING FORTH THE POWER OF IMAGINATION THROUGH YOUR MIND

January 30th 2019

“Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen” - Ephesians 3:20-21

To define the mind is to create more obscurity about its nature. But at least, we can explain how it works in our life. For me, imagination is the power of the mind, while the mind is the key to the spirit. Through imagination, we are able to conceive or create in our mind the good things that we would like to see happen to us. The mind is opened and ready to accept whatever is implanted in it. The mind is a gift from God to enable us creates any manifestation as we desire. This is because the mind is the environment in which our destiny is decided. Why? It is because the mind houses the creative power of God in you – the Christ Spirit in you! Whatever goes into the mind is very much likely to manifest with time, especially if the impression or thoughts we hold continue unabated, or is allowed to thrive for a time long enough to make it manifest. However, the mind does not just start to imagine things on its own, but rather, as a result of the things that we see, smell, hear, feel or touch. In its activities, the mind simply mirrors our physical world like a video recording, saves the recording in its memory, and later plays it back to itself intermittently. Anytime the mind plays such video back to itself, it rationalizes the content and then forms an opinion.

The process of rationalizing the content and forming an opinion is called IMAGINATION. Such conclusions or opinion as may be formed by the mind usually would manifest with time depending on how long such imagination is allowed to occupy our mind. It is therefore very important that the activities of the mind are controlled in order to bring forth a wholesome and creative imagination that will help give us happiness and joy in life. In order to develop a healthy imagination, start from today to fill your surroundings with beautiful images of what you like to have in your real life. These may be things like fine images of houses, cars, beautiful babies, flower gardens etc. Go frequently for window shopping and allow the aura and images of these beautiful things to engulf your entire being. Also, listen to inspirational music, and movies; visit beautiful places and read inspirational or motivational books. As you do all of these beautiful things, your mind would begin to record and save all the impression and then begin to play them back to you again. At that point, try to unlock the power of your imagination by controlling what conclusions the mind may form at that point. Help the mind at this point to form positive conclusions. Tell the mind you have all of those things already and also feel and see yourself possessing them outright. Your persistent action along this line would definitely bring into manifestation most of the good things you truly desire. In appreciation of this mysterious power in us, Paul is telling us in today’s word that God is able to do much more than we think or imagine.

Prayer
Father in the name of Jesus Christ, I ask that you take hold of my mind so I may bring forth healthy imagination. From this day onward, I declare that every of my positive thoughts shall manifest more than I have imagined. AMEN.
