DIVINE PRINCIPLES FOR WEALTH AND EXPANSION (PART 1 OF 2)

28th SEPTEMBER 2022

“ Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” – Luke 6:38

To grow and expand either materially or spiritually is a difficult and complex process. Although many spiritual principles have been developed and books have been written on the subject, one thing is very clear; to grow, acquire wealth and retain it has nothing to do with physical strength in terms of how much energy you are able to throw about. Were that to be the case, the lame, the armless, the blind or those with physical disabilities would not attain a measure of success in life. This insight explains the scriptures of today which seek to turn our attention to the alchemy of wealth, rather than the physical abilities to break even. The scripture is telling us today to first, give, that we may receive also; secondly, we should develop the capacity to receive wealth; thirdly, we should reposition our psyche and attitude to enable us to receive from God.

We must develop the capacity to receive; the capacity to retain wealth; and the capacity to distribute wealth. HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE, you may ask? First, you must believe that God can enlarge or expand your coast; secondly, you must make efforts to obey the commandments of God relating to wealth; thirdly, you must develop the capacity to receive and retain wealth. The widow in 2 Kings 4:6 explains the point. Take note that the widow first gave food to the man of God who was hungry. Thereafter, the man of God blessed her in return. The widow also possessed the capacity to receive wealth from God. This is true because when the man of God promised her prosperity in return; she believed the man of God and did as was commanded. The miracle of the oil continued to flow until she had no more jars to store the oil. So, she was only able to store what her jars could possibly retain. In fact, the oil stopped multiplying when all her jars were filled up. It follows that, with more jars, she would have stored more oil. What this means is that, as your capacity to retain wealth increases, so does the blessing of God flow into your life. The word of God is telling us today that our generosity goes a long way in making us develop a capacity to receive from God. And that the level of our capacity to receive, will determine how much wealth we are capable of receiving from God. The first law of prosperity and wealth attraction as well as retaining wealth is GIVING.  Start today with this divine principle and watch how God’s laws are fulfilled in your life.

PRAYER

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, enlarge my borders and also enlarge my heart so I can keep to your commandments. Lord, enlarge my steps so I can receive your wealth and prosperity. I receive deliverance and expansion into my life today. The Lord shall increase me more and more, my family and I. AMEN
