“The LORD has established His throne in the heavens, And His sovereignty rules over all” – Psalms 103:19
God’s providence is a statement that declares God’s oversight and sovereignty over the world. God’s providence means that; He upholds all things; He governs all events; He directs everything to its appointed end. He does that all the time and in every circumstance. Therefore, He does it always for his glory.
However, sometimes, we encounter a situation that suggests that God is not in control. Most believers are not living in God’s promises, which has been a source of worry to many, including pastors and prayer ministries. Why is that so? The reason is that we aren’t flowing in divine providence. I.e. we are not in agreement with God and His principles.
God is Spirit, but He has created a physical world for us to see. The world exists because God keeps it together by His Spirit. What we need to do is to come into agreement with God and His principles by doing the following:
– Be obedient to God’s commandments.
– Live by faith, believing that your works will prosper.
– Forgive willingly and abhor all bitterness.
– Make good choices and take responsibility for your life.
– Uplift others and be generous to them.
– Make regular offerings on God’s altar.
– Let everything we do speak of the glory of God
Today’s word tells us to cast all our cares and worries upon the Lord by flowing in His providence. When we flow in divine providence and agree with God and His principles, God will take care of our needs along with every other thing He caters to. He will talk to us, and we will become alive by His Spirit. Whatever the enemy does will become a tool in the hands of God to prosper us. Providence gives us the courage to keep going in hard times. With providence, every of our activities will fall in place just at the right moment, and we are prospered according to His word.
PRAYER
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, today, I redirect my focus to flow in your sustaining and creative power. Therefore, I declare every broken piece of my life is fixed now. Lord, I declare every rough edge in my relationship is smoothened now. Father, every work of my hands henceforth shall testify of thy glory. AMEN.
