For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope – Jeremiah 29:11
July 2nd 2019
It is not certain to so many people how they could become that person they actually want to become; that rich renounced and greatly endowed personality! It is quite interesting to see how fate has played some tricks in the lives of so many. While some have made it to the top, others do not seem to be that lucky. So many are confused and wondered if they would ever make it to the top before their close here on earth. Amid this confused state of mind, some have become envious of others as well. They envy those who have made it to the top and wish that they were in those positions. Truly I tell you, there is nothing anyone has achieved that should make you fret or envious. There is nothing special about anyone’s achievement! Rather, what is special is you! God is waiting patiently for you to take your rightful place as well!
We have a lot of puzzles to solve when looking to sort out the will of God for each of us. Notwithstanding our fears and anxiety, one thing is very clear – God has a wonderful plan for each of us! Today’s scripture echoes back to us, God’s word to Jeremiah some three thousand years ago. God is saying this morning that His plan for you is for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Praise God! Today, I want you to take note of these three things:
Starting from today, do not look at others and what they seem to have achieved; it pleases God to put them where they are. Rather, look at God and be opened to receive His plan for you. Do not focus on others and expect to be where they are; when you do that, you lose focus of what God truly desires for your life. What is important is that you can discover God’s plan and purpose for your life.
PRAYER
Father in the name of Jesus Christ, reveal your plan and purpose for my life today. Lord, I receive your spiritual compass to lead me to the goals of my life. I ask for Grace to perfect all imperfections in my life. Father, I decree your word rules over my life and I am positioned to achieve your plans and purpose for my life. AMEN
