SIX (6) DAYS PRACTICAL GUIDE

THEMETHE ETERNAL SACRIFICE (Preparing Mentally and Spiritually for a Blessed EASTER)

DAY 6 OF 6 (SATURDAY 30TH MARCH 2024)

TOPIC: THE EASTER ANTICIPATION

AUTHOR: MARY LAWRENCE-DOKPESI

SCRIPTURE:

“For the creation waits in eager expectation for the revealing of the sons of God. For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, because of him who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to corruption and obtain the freedom of the glory of the children of God.” – Romans 8:19-21

THE EASTER ANTICIPATION

As we approach Easter, the culmination of the sacrifice, a sense of anticipation fills the air. This isn’t just a celebration of a historical event; it’s a recognition of the ongoing power unleashed by Jesus. The sacrifice is a seed planted not just in us, but in all of creation, waiting to blossom into a world free from suffering and limitation.

Action Steps: Spend time reflecting on the hope you have for your own life and the world. Write down a vision for a future transformed by the power of the sacrifice.

PRAYER:   Father, as we celebrate Easter, fill us with the joy and hope of your transformative power. May we live as beacons of your light, anticipating the day when all creation reflects your perfect will.
