THE OIL OF GRACE FOR SERVICE

Serving others is a fundamental expression of Christian faith and a way to experience the transformative power of the Oil of Grace. By using the gifts and talents God has bestowed upon us to serve others selflessly, we not only bless them but also open ourselves to receiving His grace in abundance. This service can take various forms, from offering practical help to those in need to sharing words of encouragement or simply lending a listening ear.

ACTION:

·        Choose one action to practice service:

1.     Volunteer your time at a local organization or charity that aligns with your interests and passions.

2.     Offer assistance to an elderly neighbor or someone in need within your community.

3.     Perform a random act of kindness for someone you encounter throughout your day, like offering a compliment or holding a door open.

PRAYER: Thank you, Lord, for the opportunity to serve others and reflect your love in the world. May my acts of service bring joy and blessings to those around me. Amen.

FURTHER READING: Reflect on James 1:2-4 and Proverbs 16:32. Consider how these verses connect the concept of the Oil of Grace with patience.
