TOPIC: THE OIL OF GRACE FOR TRANSFORMATION

AUTHOR: MARY LAWRENCE – DOKPESI

 TODAY’S SCRIPTURES

“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.”- Romans 12:2

THE OIL OF GRACE FOR TRANSFORMATION

The Oil of Grace isn’t just about receiving God’s favour in times of need; it’s also about experiencing an internal transformation. As we open ourselves to His grace, He works within us, moulding our thoughts, desires, and actions to align with His will. This doesn’t erase our individuality or force us into a rigid mould, but rather guides us towards becoming the best versions of ourselves, reflecting His love and character in the world.

ACTION:

Choose one action to engage in transformative reflection:

Read a devotional or Christian book focused on personal growth.

Journal about your thoughts and feelings, seeking God’s guidance in identifying areas for transformation.

Engage in discussions with trusted friends or mentors who can offer insights and support your journey of growth.

PRAYERS

Dear Father, I surrender my heart and mind to your transforming grace. Help me shed any patterns or ways of thinking that don’t align with your will and guide me on the path to becoming more like you. Amen.
