SIX (6) DAYS PRACTICAL GUIDE

THEMETHE ETERNAL SACRIFICE (Preparing Mentally and Spiritually for a Blessed EASTER)

DAY 1 (MONDAY 25TH MARCH 2024)

TOPIC:  THE UNVEILING VEIL

AUTHOR: MARY LAWRENCE-DOKPESI

SCRIPTURE:

“But he was pierced for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed.” -Isaiah 53:5

THE UNVEILING VEIL

REFLECTION: The veil of the temple was ripped in two at the moment of Jesus’ sacrifice (Matthew 27:51). This wasn’t just a physical tearing; it was a mystical act. The veil symbolized the separation between humanity and the divine. Jesus’ sacrifice wasn’t just about forgiveness; it was about tearing down that veil, opening a doorway into a dimension of wholeness and well-being.

The eternal sacrifice isn’t a distant event; it’s an ever-present reality, a force woven into the fabric of existence. It’s like a hidden melody – to benefit from it, we need to tune in, to align ourselves with its frequency.

PRAYER: Father, open our hearts to perceive the eternal resonance of your sacrifice. Help us attune ourselves to the frequency of wholeness and peace made available through Jesus.

ACTION STEPS:

1.     Spend some time in quiet meditation today. Focus on your breath and imagine a soft, healing light filling you.

  1. Spend time in quiet meditation today. Imagine a veil being lifted, revealing a radiant light behind it. That is the light of Christ. The light of healing and cleansing. Receive it!
