Stop focusing on your lack or weaknesses. Instead, focus on what you already have, however small it is, and give thanks for provision. When you focus on your lack, your anxiety and fear increase; you lose hope and deplete your faith. As children of God, we do not lack anything because Jesus Christ already purchased everything we would need in life, as well as eternal life combined. This is basic Christian teaching which you must hold onto at all times. But we require faith to enable us to access the promises of God.

Often time, we affirm the truth of these promises without actually believing in them. And if we don’t believe, we cannot access them. God wants us to open His storehouse by Faith. He wants us to have His abounding GRACE! However, reminding us about the need for faith does not make it easier to exercise faith! But we can learn to use Faith by doing the following: One, – Stop looking at what you do not have. Instead, focus on Jesus and all the abounding grace that he purchased for you already. Two, – Begin to do everything humanly possible to get to your goals. When you do that, believe in your heart that your victory is assured. Three – Give with radical generosity. It is in giving that we are richly blessed. Give willingly of time and resources. The measure you give is the measure you get.

The word of God is telling us today to focus on Jesus and the promises of God. In Jesus, all Grace abounds to us so that having sufficiency in all things at all times, we may abound in every good work.

PRAYER

Father in the name of Jesus Christ, today, I hold onto your promises of wellbeing and riches, and I am richly blessed. Lord, by the power of the Holy Spirit, I declare open, the jar of God’s provisions and treasure, and I am empowered to access God’s bottomless bank account by faith. Therefore, I now tap into the content of each of your promises from this day. AMEN,

Mary Lawrence-Dokpesi

Mary Lawrence-Dokpesi was born in Nigeria to Patrick Abuda Obeakemhe and Juliana Fatimatu Obeakemhe, both from Ogbona Town. With a master’s degree in law, she was called to the bar at the age of twenty-two, and she is currently the principle partner of the law firm Mary Lawrence-Dokpesi & Associates.
