USING THE MIND AND IMAGINATION FOR POSITIVE TRANSFORMATION (PART 2 OF 4)

“Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen” – Ephesians 3:20-21

The power which is at work in us is the Christ spirit. The scripture says Christ in you is the hope of glory. The Christ spirit in us works through our spirit, and the mind is connected to our spirit. Therefore, the mind is the environment where all spiritual or supernatural phenomena take place in you. You must be on your guard and ensure that poisonous or toxic thoughts do not infiltrate your mind. It is interesting to note that the devil is not more powerful than you are. The devil gets hold of our lives when we allow him to build his STRONGHOLD in us. Take note that the stronghold of the devil is NOT HANGING IN THE SPACE BUT YOUR MIND. The devil’s fortress is built on FEAR, anger, jealousy, envy, greed, unforgiveness, hatred, wickedness and the likes of them.

A negative mindset is an invitation to the devil to come to dwell with us. The devil feeds on lies, anger, jealousy, hatred, fear, envy, and other damaging elements. The presence of these negative tendencies in our minds is an invitation to the devil to come to dwell with us. All the negative features stated above do not necessarily have to exist together. Only one of them is enough to create room for the devil to operate through us! Unfortunately, those whose mind is inhabited by the devil would constantly attract adverse conditions as well. Such persons cannot experience a meaningful success or positive transformation. For instance, some people are afraid of witches and wizards and also believe that some negative powers are at work in their life. if you have any reason to feel that someone has done something to harm you, the first thing to do is to FORGIVE and extend LOVE to such a person! This is the point at which we sometimes miss our healing or victory over negative conditions, i.e. if we refuse to forgive or let go of anger.

DO NOT become angry at the so-called witch or wicked fellow hates them, curses them, and wishes them dead. That is wrong and does not solve any problem! Instead, it escalates the already worst situation and denies you access to Jesus, the one who gives healing and protection! Jesus says, love and forgive your enemies and those who hate or persecute you! Beloved, love, and forgiveness grant you access to Jesus Christ, the one who gives a life of abundance! The one who opens the door for healing and breakthrough is Jesus.

Another clear example is that you may be afraid generally, without necessarily having anyone in mind. That is also a problem. This is because fear breaks down your spiritual immunity. The devil is happy when we are afraid of adverse conditions. What you fear most tend to happen someday! Therefore, BEWARE! To positively transform your life, start by removing from your mind all kinds of negative thoughts such as hatred and unforgiveness, including fear, and you shall overcome the devil instantly. Feed positive reviews into your mind and invite the holy spirit to come to dominate your mind. By so doing, you will gradually dislodge the stronghold of the devil from your life!

Some people beat or hit at one another or slap themselves in a bid to beat out the devil from their lives. Some even shoot others with a gun in a bid to kill the devil in them, and they have ended up killing themselves or committing grievous harm to others! The devil is not a physical entity that can be driven out of us. PLEASE CHANGE YOUR NEGATIVE MINDSET TO DRIVE OUT THE DEVIL FROM YOUR LIFE. ALSO, REMOVE THE NEGATIVE ENERGY FROM YOUR SURROUNDINGS AND YOU WILL REMOVE THE DEVIL FROM YOUR SURROUNDINGS AS WELL.

It is only when the devil is far away from us that we can experience any positive transformation. In appreciation of this mysterious power of the Christ Spirit in us, Paul is telling us today that God can do much more than we think or ask according to the power which is at work in us. Praise God!

Father in the name of Jesus Christ, I ask that you take hold of my mind so I may bring forth healthy imagination. I declare that each of my positive thoughts shall manifest more than I have imagined from this day onward. AMEN.
