ON THE VERGE OF JORDAN WITH CHRIST

JANUARY 5th 2018

Today’s Scriptures: Who has spoken and it came to pass, unless the Lord has commanded it? - Lamentations 3:37

Today, I remember a popular traditional Christian song, titled; “GUIDE ME O THOU, GREAT REDEEMER”, written by Peter Williams in 1771. This song attunes me with the power of God. It is a song of victory; a song of abundance and a song of healing as well as praises. Each time I sang the song, meditating on the supremacy, and the strength of God, something happens; the veil between heavens and the earth is removed, revealing the glory of God pouring forth upon all men, reversing false prophesies; ungodly incantations and all manner of spiritual manipulations. The outpour of His glory stretches down to deliver men from bondages, and mental poisoning. Beloved, remove your gaze from EMPTINESS, and behold the glory of God NOW.

Remember, there is nothing that can override the power of God. The dark night or the wilderness experience is meant to strengthen you, and not to silence you; to give life and victory, not death or shame. Jesus Christ is the glory of God; the bread of heaven which feeds you for evermore. Jesus Christ is the crystal fountain where healing flows; Jesus is the master of all powers and principalities; he is the death of death, and the one who destroys hell. Hold on to the Master. When the dark night sets in and you are going on the verge of Jordan and the wilderness experience, know that Christ is NEAR. Hold on to God and do not lose hope or faith. With Christ, the journey across the wilderness is FASTER, free from death and starvation. Beloved, Christ is the light to see through the dark night; hold on to Him!

Prayer

Father in the name of Jesus Christ, today I lift up my spirit to behold your glory. Lord, let your anointing fall upon me and let signs and wonders accompany my footsteps from this day onwards. Father, I fear no evil for you have conquered death and destroyed hell for my sake. Therefore, I declare strength, victory and healing upon my life now. Lord, by thy power, I silence every spirit of untimely death and I dismantle every trap set against me both in the spiritual and in the physical. Father, I decree I shall not die or fall by the wayside in the course of my journey through life; for I shall live to fulfill my mission and purpose in life. Amen.
