TODAY’S SCRIPTURES:

“These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” – John 16:33.

 IN THE STORMS?

Life can feel like a rollercoaster, with moments of joy soaring through sunshine and unexpected turns that plunge us into darkness. I know because I’ve been there myself.

It’s easy to feel overwhelmed when challenges arise, but remember what Jesus tells us: “In the world you will have tribulation.” Hardships are not a sign of weakness but an inevitable part of our journey.

However, these trials don’t have to define us. Instead, they can become opportunities for growth and strengthening our faith. Here’s how:

Seek God’s guidance: Pray for clarity and understanding during times of struggle. Ask Him to reveal the purpose behind your struggles and the lessons you are meant to learn. (Include a specific prayer prompt, like “Lord, help me understand how this challenge can bring me closer to you.”)

Lean on your faith community: We are not meant to go through life alone. Reach out to your brothers and sisters in Christ for support, encouragement, and prayers. (Mention specific ways your ministry offers support, like support groups or prayer lines.)

Reflect and learn: Take time to journal or meditate on your experience. Ask yourself questions like “What can I learn from this? How has this experience brought me closer to God?”

Find inspiration in others: Surround yourself with individuals who have overcome similar challenges. Their stories can offer hope and strength on your journey.

Remember, God’s light still shines even in the darkest of storms. Through faith and perseverance, you can not only weather the storm but emerge stronger, more resilient, and with a deeper connection to your faith.

If you’re struggling today, know that you are not alone. Our ministry is here to offer support and guidance. Simply find Mary Lawrence-Dokpesi on Facebook, and drop me a message. You will also find all my contacts on Facebook.

May you find peace and strength in the arms of our Lord.

PRAYER

Dear God, my struggles sometimes feel overwhelming. Give me strength and patience. Help me to see the lessons in this pain, and shape me into a person of unwavering faith. Amen.
