“Through him, we have obtained access to this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in our hope of sharing the glory of God”. – Romans 5:2
At Christmas, the Lord is born! The coming down of Christ or the holy Christus to dwell among men is one of the greatest mysteries of God. The Bible says God manifested His Holy Word to grow and live among men. His name is IMMANUEL, meaning God with us.
On Christmas day, we celebrate the coming down of God from heaven to live on the earth, to dwell among us. Since, the birth of Christ on Christmas day, the Christ Spirit is completely renewed in our lives. Christ has come to live with a man for eternity. His birth on earth brings a new consciousness into the world – the Christ consciousness!
The consciousness of Christ brings regeneration, peace, love, and reconciliation to mankind. Christ is alive on earth, He is in you, everywhere and in all things. He is the power of God moving the creative forces of God into manifestation. Therefore, In Christ, all things are created and recreated according to the level of your consciousness in Christ, and as much as you are capable of receiving from God.
Christ on earth calls for a realization of the presence of God in our lives and in our world. For as long as we are able to keep Christ alive in our hearts, the joy of Christmas will remain with us daily, and Christmas will cease to be a yearly affair. But a daily experience! Where the light of Christ is allowed to shine forth, there also exists, the glory of the lord! The Bible says, Christ in you is the hope of Glory.
Today, I want to remind us of the need to keep Christ alive in our hearts after Christmas. If we keep the Christ spirit alive and feel His presence daily in our lives, Christmas becomes a daily affair. The joy of Christmas continues to trigger off the glory of God in our lives. When we allow Christ to dwell in our hearts, pouring forth the glory of God ceaselessly upon our lives, Christmas becomes a daily occurrence. Therefore, Christmas is every day for us, if we constantly keep Christ alive in our hearts.
Today, we are reminded that Christ’s consciousness abounds in our hearts and in all things, and never do anything likely to destroy the light of Christ in you. The easiest way to destroy Christ’s light is to engage in sin.
PRAYER
Lord God, I align with your word today as I bring forth Christ to live in my heart. May I receive constantly His divine effulgence in His presence? Thank you, Lord.
