“Is not the cup of thanksgiving for which we give thanks a participation in the blood of Christ? And is not the bread that we break a participation in the body of Christ? - 1 Corinthians 10:16

The greatest mystery confronting humanity is the mystery of God becoming man, dwelling among men, and thereafter, offering himself as a ransom to heal and to save the world. Explaining this mystery has been a difficult process. Here, the Christ of God took form as Jesus Christ to pave the way for the reconciliation of God with man, through His shed blood on the cross at Calvary. The questions have always been, “why must God through the blood of His son save man from sins and destruction”? The answer is that, the blood of Christ represents the very essence of the WORD of God which created ALL THINGS, INCLUDING HUMANITY, and by which all things are preserved and kept whole under the supreme will and sovereignty of God. Therefore, the WORD is the preservative which protects every nature from damage. The blood therefore represents the very essence of the life of God which continuously rebuilds, protects and keep all natures and creations. At the last super, Jesus Christ gave us the cup of blessing in his blood, and his flesh and declared that as many as would partake in the communion of His blood and flesh, they shall have their sins forgiven, they would not die. This creates longevity and eternity for man. The cup thus became a blessing, because Jesus declared, the cup of wine to be His holy blood, containing His total divinity of body, soul and spirit. Therefore, the total divinity of God is present in the cup of blessing. Jesus says we must drink of the cup and eat of his flesh in memory of Him. As we do this, we are renewed, healed and made whole. Also, wherever, the cup of blessing is raised, the whole of nature also become renewed with a new life and spirit of God. When we take the cup and eat the flesh, we are partaking of the very spirit of God, the life of God – the ETERNAL WORD OF GOD which created the world and which became Jesus Christ. The shedding of the holy blood of Christ heralded the renewal of nature and the redemption of man. Without the shedding of blood, nature and humanity will perish. God the father knows that it is only by His WORD – His LIFE – THE HOLY BLOOD that humanity can truly be preserved, saved, and kept perpetually alive. And so, He made His WORD - His life to become Jesus Christ, so He could actualize this significant change in the world. The word of God today reveals to us the power in the Holy Communion.

Are you ready to partake in the holy blood and the body of God; the very LIFE, and WORD of God, and to experience a total transformation of your life by becoming one with God? The benefits of your decision are tremendous; What the holy blood does for us;
1. It remits sins (Matt. 26:28).
2. It gives life to those who consume it (John 6:53).
3. It causes us to dwell in Christ and He in us (John 6:56).
4. It is the means by which Jesus purchased the church (Acts 20:28).
5. It is the means by which Jesus becomes our atonement through faith (Rom. 3:25).
6. It justifies us and saves us from wrath (Rom. 5:9).
7. It redeems us (Eph. 1:7; 1 Pet. 1:18-19; Rev. 5:9).
8. It brings those who were far away from God near to Him (Eph. 2:13).
9. It grants us the forgiveness of sins (Col. 1:14).
10. It brings peace and reconciliation to God (Col. 1:20)
The eternal word of God is in all things throughout the entire universe. As you participate in the cup of blessing, you are given the keys to unlock or transcend all parts of the world. The Holy Communion remains our cup of blessing. It’s a part of the LIFE of God through the blood of Jesus Christ.
