Faith

“Afterward the disciples came to Jesus privately and asked, ‘Why couldn’t we drive it out?’ ‘Because you have so little faith. He answered. “For truly I tell you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘move from here to there, and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you. (Matthew 17:19 – 20)

It is difficult for many to demonstrate the gift of faith majorly because they still cannot understand the relationship between God and Man. Man is an expression of God, expressing the divine principles and essences of God. This clearly shows that man is a true image of God. Hebrews Chapter 11 tries to explain what faith means by stating in verses 1- 2 thus:
‘Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen’. For by it the ancients were commended. This means that through prayers and meditation, we are able to form our desires through creative visualization and affirmative prayers, by employing the use of the divine essences and principles of God within. AFTER PRAYERS, WE ARE TO SIMPLY LET GO, and allow God through His ETERNAL WORD take preeminence and dominion of materializing our dreams. OUR DUTY AT THIS POINT IS TO BELIEVE OR BE ASSURED THAT OUR REQUET HAS MANIFESTED because His Eternal Word does not fail. Hebrews 11:1talked about “evidence of things not seen”. The things that are not seen which are employed in bringing our dreams into reality are the DIVINE INVISSIBLE PRINCIPLES AND ESSENCES OF GOD OF WHICH THE ETERNAL WORD FORMED AN INTEGRAL PART. The EVIDENCE that these divine principles and essences truly exist and potent is the manifestation of what we prayed about. In creating the world, God also used these divine invisible essences and principles. When God set HIS ETERNAL WORD in motion, the whole universe was created. The WORD did not fail when God employed Him to create the universe, therefore, it does not fail us because we are truly the image of God. Our claim to the existence of the spiritual essences and principles of God was carefully explained in Romans 1:20 thus: “For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse”. In other to bring faith alive therefore, we have two main duties as human beings:
1. Simply affirm and visualise our reality the way we want them to be;
2. Letting go our prayers, meaning we have to release all to the ETERNAL WORD whose duty it is to materialize them.
You do not have to be disturbed or doubtful whether your desires would materialize or not. This is because it is NOT YOUR DUTY TO MATERIALIZE THOSE DESIRES, BUT THAT OF THE ETERNAL WORD (John 1:1-3) To hang on to our prayers is to prevent them from being materialized. The ETERNAL WORD would only begin to materialize our desires ONLY WHEN THOSE DESIRES ARE RELEASED TO HIM. IF THEY REMAIN WITH US, HE DOES NOTHING. Each human being is born with a measure of faith because man is a true image of God. We encourage each member to increase or expand their gift of faith by bringing faith to the level of a mustard seed. The faith like a mustard seed is when faith truly becomes alive in us. When faith becomes alive, it begins to grow and expand nonstop. To build a living faith, we have to study the scriptures and interact deeply with the ETERNAL WORD at quiet times during the hours of prayer. It is a two – way interactions; We talk to the WORD OF GOD AND WE LISTEN TO HEAR THE WORD TALK BACK TO US. Romans 10:1 tries to explain these two way communications thus: “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Expressing faith with boldness is one of the gifts of the Holy Spirit which we earn by His Grace through humility and obedience to God’s command. Through faith in the ETERNAL WORD OF GOD, we are victorious in all things. (Matthew 17:23; Mark 11:23)
